Absolutely blame Rosie for Alshon. He had no reason to guarantee Alshon. Then realized he screwed up right after he worked out the new deal with Alshon and tried to trade him. Rosie is the most guilty party in that situation. Most any player would be pissed if you work out new contract and they try and ship you out right after that...unless it was understood as part of the contract(ie sign and trade situation).

If Rosie didn’t try and trade him immediately after signing him would any of these things happened? No..probably not.

Trying to figure out why people keep making statements that the Eagles aren’t confident in Dillard. They had options. Peters wanted to stay. V might have taken less to stay here. They made the move to Dillard. That was confidence in the guy. Seems solely based on unconfirmed rumors.

We needed a WR at the time,he was apparently the best available.Iif he said I want 2 years guaranteed,but you needed him what do you do? You take your best shot,again you are using hindsight

I didn't see anything,any signs that told me Jjaw is someone to keep. He needs to prove me wrong and he needs to do it now

If Alshon stayed healthy and got 1200 yards and 10 TD's would you have a problem with that?

No. Bringing him in to win a SB was great. There was no reason before last offseason to guarantee him that extension however. That was a bad call. Such a bad call that Rosie realized it really really quickly and tried to shop Jeffrey. That’s bad business on both sides. That’s on Rosie.

If I piss you off and backstab you would you give your all and play through injury? After I tried to backstab you would have a right to be salty and complain some? I was pissed at Alshon until all the facts came out. I don’t agree with everything Alshon did. Jeffrey did give his all playing hurt to give us a SB title. Gave his all playing injured in 2018 also. That was a slimy move Rosie pulled. That’s even considering the NFL life and world. Rosie made a mistake... then made a second mistake trying to cover for the first one.

He was injured,how would I know????? When you play in the NFL you are always playing your best for FUTURE deals

And if he was on that pace Rosie would have tried to trade him. I was a fan of getting Alshon. Good call. Extending him originally...good call. But it was bad business Rosie’s actions with him last season. Just didn’t make any sense. He screwed up. Knew he screwed up...very quickly..like a month. Then screwed up again.

Like you said Ward was here 3 years,they played him because they had no choice and he was the best PS player.They played Jjaw because they had no choice either. Noone knew if he would succeed or not.Apparently they saw enough in camp to say he would,but the game is not practice.They can only go by what they see
