I need to calm down with Singleton. He's getting too hyped in my head that we may actually have a decent LB now

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

The fact that they are out, already warming up, while the Eagles are meandering onto the field says plenty.  The fact that Curran pointing this out as the norm over joint practices says a lot.  We should strive to be better, including in a joint practice.

Maybe the Eagles players have a different definition of "joint" practice.

Even if you can ignore Bo Wulf's political asides, it's insufferable how he's constantly cutting off Zach Berman just so he can make an irreverent comment.

I have been listening to it at 1 1/2 speed which makes it better.  I think Wolf is familiar with the bottom of the roster and pays attention to o-line play.  I think Berman and Kapadia are 2 of the best journalists covering the Eagles.  What bothers me about the Mosher Caplan podcast is that Caplan seems to have no real clue about what the players are playing like so his insight is limited to whatever his FO sources (Howie) is telling him.  The BGN podcast is generally good.

By game 4 the feeling will pass.

It was not an attack, it was an observation.  You have to quit confusing facts with accusations.

The next time you make any post about Hurts without a negative slant will be the first time.

Why do you care so much what I post about Hurts.

This is great, but if the Eagles don't win games it won't matter.  There are very few starting QBs on 4-win teams who have job security.

Hurts has to progress from last season's results.  If it's more of the same he's not going to be around.

Because you try to act like you don't have a bias against Hurts and aren't rooting against him. Which is laughable because it couldn't be anymore clear that you do.

So now we are attributing the Eagles 4-11-1 season to Hurts and his 4 starts.

I have posted facts, you are free to debate those facts.  Not everyone is going to be like you and anoint him a hall of famer after 4 below average games.

This is a positive sign.  We knew Reagor was much more raw than Jefferson coming out.  I thought Jefferson had a higher ceiling, but everyone knew that he was much more pro ready than just about any WR in that draft.  If Reagor can actually live up to his athleticism from what we saw at TCU, then it will take some of the sting out of passing on Jefferson for him.  But, he's got a ways to go to make that a reality.   But, if Reagor can prove to be a legitimate NFL WR, that will make that draft look a lot better.   Hurts becoming a starting caliber QB will do the same.   Howie's 'rebuild' really pivots on those two.  If they can become players, Howie stays.   If those two struggle this coming year... Howie should be long gone.

They have good insight into the players.  I don't think it's virtue signaling.  I think the point about the Eagles about not hiring a black coach was really a kind of dig at what Bo thinks is maybe empty virtue signaling by the Eagles.  I think the point about mandatory vaccines and Slay is simply him expressing a common frustration.  People who are unvaccinated at this point are morons.  Slay is a moron for not getting vaccinated as is Cousins or any other person with access, a significant financial risk and some minimal intellectual ability.  I also think the Eagles, as a private company, could mandate vaccines to attend games and most fans would be happy about it.  If it makes some morons not go, then good riddance.  Stay inside and don't go to games.

Not all are morons. There are some people who can't get the vaccine and are recommended not to by their doctors. People with history of myocarditis, guillen barre, blood clots, anyone going through chemo, etc. Especially if they live a lifestyle that doesn't put them at risk of being around others indoors or in close quarters.

People have just assumed that everyone who hasn't gotten it has done so for political reasons. I don't believe that is the case.

I wonder how Chase Daniel is taking it.

Flacco and Dillard for Watson straight up sounds about right.  As long as the Eagles play games on weekends Watson might be able to apply for a prison work release program .....

To add to the original tweet. @HazletonEagle is "Likability" on that spider chart?  "Winning smile" would work too.

The CDC still recommends the vaccination for people with all of those conditions. The risk analysis is still that Covid has a greater risk of causing harm than the potential risk of the vaccine.  While some people may have legitimate worry about the vaccine, the risk analysis is still to get the vaccine.  I mean if you look at the percentage of risk for a blood clot complication from the vaccine vs. actually getting Covid you really can't do the math. https://www.bmj.com/content/373/bmj.n1005  Sure some people could have legitimate anxiety about it but if they want to go to a game there's nothing wrong in making them get  it.   In any event, we know that's not what is going on with people that don't want to get the vaccine.

I don't think we need to rehash the politics.  People who probably have no particular political allegiance have not gotten the vaccine because of disinformation.  They think they can be made sterile or that their DNA is getting changed.  They think it is unapproved for use as if that means anything.  They accept this misinformation because it confirms their fears and they use it to try to rationalize a foolish decision.

So much hype around a guy who's been mediocre at best as a player thus far in his career. Must be the videos.

When have I ever anointed him as a Hall of Famer? All I've said is he flashed enough as a rookie that he deserves to have this year as the starter to show if he can be the QB going forward or not.  I haven't seen you hate on a player as much as Hurts since when you hated on Wentz back when Foles was on the roster.

I agree with you, just saying there are people who have had their doctors recommend against it, and thus decided not to get it. Which doesn't make them morons, though it might make one question the doctor's credentials.

The bolded is 100% false.  I was always a Wentz supporter.  I also did not believe like you the season was over when he got injured.

After Foles won the Super Bowl, I argued with the long list of idiots who thought we should have traded Wentz and got a maximum return, and rolled with Foles as the QB.  Anyone in the blog can back me up on this.

You would know that if you did not get banned for hating on the guy who won the Eagles their first Lombardi trophy.

You were lockstep with bobbywizdum on going with Foles and getting rid of Wentz.
