Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Next week too!

so since the preseason is only 3 games, less reps. Makes sense to me

No clue.  I turned it on.  Heard Seltzers shrieking voice coming back from a break.  He said it was like a Go Birds Podcast edition of the mid day today.  That was all I needed to hear to know ESP was on.  I saw a poll question on twitter asking if Hurts should play tonight.  So then and there I knew that moron suggested Hurts not play.  I didn't even need to hear it come out of his mouth.

He was the reason I had the windows all the way down, to drown out his voice.

I was in the car earlier around 12 and had the windows all the way down and couldn't quite hear the full bet but it sounded like Eskin bet ESP $200.  I think one of them had the eagles winning 10 games.  Not sure who.

The bet is if Hurts has 35 total TD's + 11 or more wins, Eskin needs to kiss ESP's ass on Broad st. If Hurts and Eagles don't, ESP has to pay $100 or $200 bucks to some charity.

Sounds like ESP has us going to the championship round lol.

Disagree.  He and the WR needs reps.

That's Lowie calling the shots.

Meanwhile the Chiefs are playing starters the entire first half, but what do they know? They are .500 in the SB the last two years. Losers.

Chiefs also had all of their OTA's....along with the Bucs.  No need to model anything after what they do.

Players cant get hurt if theyre never actually playing. This is like an NFL loophole.  Genius.

I see nothing that could potentially go wrong

Off topic, RIP Sonny Chiba.  When I was a kid I watched every martial arts movie I could find.  Saw a ton of his movies.

I liked his style a lot. Very hard. Loved the Streetfighter movies.

I really hoped he'd put it together this year and be the long-term answer, allowing us to make Mailata the guy once Lane leaves. At this point, take what you can get and rip the band-aid off.

Howie doesn't rip the Band-Aid off of high round picks though. He likes to keep them lingering on the roster for years

Sydney Jones would disagree with you.

All honestly, with the lack of OTs out there it does not surprise me one bit that teams are calling. Now just because they are calling doesnt mean they are offering much of anything. They know Jordan has won the spot. When there is blood in the water, the sharks will come.

While I don't disagree about Howie, being a good investor/GM/manager requires understanding the concept of sunk costs. Dillard and JJAW wouldn't be near this roster if not for their draft position. Time to dump them both and basically move on from the entire 2019 draft (other than Miles, who we shouldn't give a 2nd contract).

Maybe it depends what Sirianni and Stoutland think they have in Le'Raven Clark.  If you've got Mailata and Johnson as your starting OT, with Clark and Driscoll able to backup -- then you see what the market is for Dillard.

Personally, I'd prefer keep the OT depth unless there is an offer as high as 2nd/3rd round.

I don't trust him to be healthy or to play well, and I don't want to cut someone like Toth to keep him around. Clark, Driscoll and Toth and play tackle.

I'd take a 5th at this point and move on.

It will be interesting to see if Eliott kicks tonight or they just have someone else emergency kick. Maybe Sirianni will go for it on some 4th downs this time.

I’m still waiting on all those teams that were reportedly interested in Ertz , to trade for Ertz

Be lucky to get a 5th for Dillard
