You’ve never had a medical issue flare up almost instantly?

Nope.  Just lucky to be healthy I guess.

More importantly, though -- I can never remember a QB going from dancing in pre-game warmups to getting rushed to the hospital.  Maybe there is a precedent for it, but none that I recall.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

So who to believe.  afan and his band of apologists that it doesn't matter, or one of the team leaders, gosh, that is a hard one.

I love that someone is speaking up about this. Preseason or not that product the Eagles put on the field was embarrassing. Totally agree with Lane on this one. If it didn’t mean anything then why keep the score?

There’s a certain level of Competition you hold yourself to no matter what season it is and the Eagles looked like they didn’t even deserve to be on the field last night.

So question for the Blog.

If one already knew what last night's pre season game was going to be like how much would one be willing to pay to watch it???

Exactly what I paid to not watch it.

Like a heart attack or a rumby tummy?

I think the starting o-line should have at least had a couple of series.

Yep, makes no sense to play the receivers for a half if the line can't block for the QB, and the QB can not get them the ball.  What is the point if you are worried about injuries having guys out there taking unproductive reps.

I'll take Sirianni at face value on the explanation and I'll try not to be critical of Hurts .... but we're clearly not getting the full account of what happened here, which is why I say "troubling" in quotes

Not for nothing but if there's a bunch of missed tackles and timing problems on offense then they really are messing up the season.  I have no problem resting much of the veterans on the d-line. I think sitting Slay is fine.  I think the starting o-line should have at least had a couple of series.   I do think they did well getting the number 1 receivers work.

It's not like the o-line has to learn a new scheme or anything.

I wouldn’t put much stock into the outcome of a preseason game. , more about individual performance and situational football , imo .

After seeing @LeanMeanGM, could also be Matt Leo

And or didn't want to be on the field

I'd be more concerned about Hurts' readiness for Week 1 than anything else right now.  Essentially pulling himself out of a game right before kickoff is "troubling".  Not sure if the trip to the hospital was legit or not -- seems very strange to go from taking part in pre-game warmups to being rushed to the hospital.

The fact that the Eagles have 0 depth at any position besides TE doesn’t concern you? This team has no one who it can count in when (yeah I said it when) injuries start happening.

No one looked good at any backup spot two weeks in a row. QB,OL,WR, DL,LB,DB is as deep as a puddle of water.

I think the Browns were also undefeated in preseason the year they went 0-16.

You definitely don't want to be undefeated in preseason

So for whatever that's worth.

Sounds like a normal post taco bell visit

Ask @HazletonEagle on this one.

Or they didn't have a bunch people miss most of last season

Could of been a precaution too. They may have wanted to get him out of there ASAP in case it was the Rona.

There's a number of conditions that could cause abdominal pain, low probability but why take chances?

The Eagles won 4 games last season -- 3 of those wins were against DiNucci, Mullens, and Taysom Hill.  It's pretty much a given the team lacks depth.  I have them going 7-10 this season and I might be the most optimistic poster on the board.

They don't even really have depth at TE because Ertz could be gone tomorrow; even if he's here which Ertz will we get?

First string , second string. , third string  , it doesn’t matter , you have to at least  convert one third down  , two games in , birds have converted zero .
