I honestly can't remember...  it was certainly a pretty high number...  if you can update it without too much trouble, that's fine...  but don't go to any excess trouble...  thanks!

It was fairly easy, you're all set now.

Back when the old EMB was in its final days, I archived as much of it as I could (on archive.org) within those final 2 weeks. Part of that archive is the old members list, which shows posting and Like stats.

You're on page 2 of the old list, here's that page, in case you want to add your old member number and/or your old Join Date to your profile here or just for future reference: Old Member List Here's where some of the old boards archived links are located:

Back then, were you aware that the old board was closing?  There was actually a TV news mention of the old board closing and the efforts of us members banding together to open a new EMB.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

I don't think this season is about wins and losses, it's more like 1999 when AR did a total rebuild.

What it shows is how much turnover there is in the NFL, a lot of the players retained, signed and drafted in 1999 were gone by 2002. 16 of the starters in 1999 were gone in three years.

Pederson to McNabb

Turner to Martin

Johnson to Pinkston

Small to Thrash

Brzezinski to Welbourn

Everett to Fraley

Dellenbach to Mayberry

Palelei to Runyan

Jefferson to Whiting

Thomas to Simon

Martin to Walker

Mamula to Douglas

Darling, Trotter, Thomas to Barber, Kirkland, Emmons

Hauck to Bishop

Thanks, man... appreciate it...  I was aware it was closing, and it was my intention to join the private board, but somehow that never happened...

I know that there were a bunch of people that had no idea it was happening. Some have found us through Google.

Anyone else that hasn't had their stats adjusted, that may want their old stats added to their current stats, can post in the thread below and I'll see if I can find them in the old archive:

Getting your old status would be something that @VaBeach_Eagle would have to deal with.  I'm not sure if he'd be able to do it or not.

I look forward to your unique point of view being shared in the midst of the fray.  It's a new era with Sirianni and we'll see where this goes.  Personally, I'm expecting no more than 6 wins this year, but time will tell.

Yeah, I view this as a transition year...  much like AR back in '99...  I think that one of the things that leads this Board, and this Blog, to go off the rails at times is the lack of 'reasonable expectations'...  I expect we'll see some of that this year, as it's bound to be a bit of a bumpy ride...  I think taking a shot at .500 would be a lofty goal, but that's a far as my optimism extends...  it's good to be back in the fold (and, as of now, I have NO ONE on Ignore... 😄)

Some of those were steps down and due to injury, like Everett to Fraley.  Speaking of the marshmallow man, Herbig reminds me a bit of him.  Decent technique but a phone booth guy.

well the bears #1's looked worse then our 2nd and 3rd team's , so we got that LOL

Nah, I think Jackson is the one you're thinking of, Juriga is more like Fraley, a poor man's Kelce.

Who is this imposter?!

Agreed.  My expectations are extremely tempered.  I don't know what Hurts really is, or can become.  I didn't like the pick when it happened, because I see a limited ceiling for Hurts.  We'll see if he can shatter my expectations.  What I am hoping to see from the team this year is a ton of growth.  Lots of players seemed to stagnate last year, regress, not develop, disappoint.   Now there's fresh eyes on the situation, fresh ideas.  We'll see what they can do to raise the level.   I want to see Hurts get better in the passing game, and not rely on his legs, even if that means losing games that we could potentially win if he was more of a runner.  I'd like to see Smith break the trend of disappointing WR draft picks.  I'd like to see Reagor also buck that trend and become a weapon.  I'd like to see the young OL get opportunities and grow into the job.  I'd like to see an aggressive defense.  I'd like to see the young defenders grow into their new roles.   I really don't care about the W/L record, just player development... and its because of that that I've been disappointed at the lack of preseason reps given to our top units.

I get why the older guys like Cox, Graham, Brooks, Johnson and Kelce are limited.  Every rep is important.  How much more effective could the first team offense have been, and by extension the young WRs, had the first team OL played at least the first series with Flacco and given those kids a chance to get some more game reps?  Maybe you don't give them more than a dozen plays, but a dozen good reps are better than a handful of reps and then the rest they are watching the defense from the sidelines as 3 and out after 3 and out piles up due to the struggles of the 2nd team OL to stop the Pats' 1st team DL.  Just seemed like a missed opportunity.  And yes, the intersquad practices are very good, but there's something to be said about stepping onto the field in a 'game', versus practice.  Much different energy, even in a PS game.  Smith looked like he was dealing with a bit of jitters early.  And a little extra confidence might have been gained from a little better complement of players around him.

Back before all you Libs started getting trophies for doing nothing that would’ve been a great hit

Agreed. You’ve taken so many balls to the chin I’m sure you would have absorbed that hit like a champ!

I wasn’t watching game live, just saw the clip on twitter. Didn’t see anything about an ejection

Could see that flag coming as soon as one sees the defender dip his shoulders resulting in the upward explosion into fields helmet.

Perfect form tackle for most decades of football.

Not so much anymore, we as fans love seeing these hits, NFL films used to make a killing off cut ups if hits like this, and in the new gentler age of football players have to realize player safety especially QBs is at an all time high because the league knows  qbs drive revenues, and as such defenders if not wanting to be flagged need to change the way tackling has been taught forever.

If one of the kids I coached made a tackle like that I'd give him an atta boy and show it as a example to the other kids on how to explode through ones hips and wrap up on a form tackle, now that hit and others like it will be used as a cautionary take shown to teams on how not to tackle and to expect a flag if one does.

The biggest problem I have with it is the rule isn't consistent with other positions other than qb.

If a RB takes a hit like that no flag, but a QB and all hell breaks loose, if the league really cared about player safety they would protect all position equally but they don't they care about protecting their cash cows which are their qbs.👎

There was no ejection. It was flagged obviously.

Looked like a good hit to me.  Whats the defender supposed to do, wrap his arms around him like a bear hug and then gently lay him on the grass?
