So does Howie have 100% say in who gets cut? Or is there some sort of conversation between Lurie, Howie, and coaches?

Howie and Lurie.  Coaches have no say over those two.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

So JJAW stays and Fulgham is a goner

Last season, when the Eagles had scrubs off the street not protecting the franchise QB -- to the point where the franchise QB said 'screw you guys; I'm out".  There are consequences.

Let's leave Wentz out of it because maybe his poor play and trade demand wasn't just attributable to the offensive line woes.  I think Dillard does afford them some depth. I am not sure that he has performed at a level that shows he has 1st round talent. I think it's arguable as to how well he may perform vs a player like LeRaven Clark or Driscoll.  I also think he lacks versatility meaning if Mailata is a long-term LT then there's really no role for Dillard but as a back up.  I am sure that's not something he is happy with as a player.  if a team is willing to part with a 4th round pick, that may have long-term value for the team.

It's Howie's call but I'm sure it's a collaborative effort except with players like JJAW.

This is a guy the Eagles need to 100% look into.

So then it is not a true collaborative effort.

Literally the only reason to keep him is insurance. He can't play any other OL spot and probably won't be active all year.

I'm fine if the team keeps him but I don't think he has a long-term role if Mailata is the starting LT.   So what's the downside to trading him?

How much is a starting quality LT worth? He may not be as good as Mailata but that does not mean he's chopped liver. How many LTs in the league are as good as I think Mailata is? You could count them on one hand with a finger or two left over.

The absolute least I would expect for Dillard would be a conditional third that converts to a second if he plays X snaps and a first if he plays Y snaps.

Don't be in a hurry to dump this guy.

There was some hate for the fact that they let foles go to keep him. But also I’m guessing the way it played out this offseason (for most) with the leaked stories and how he left the organization. Also easier to hate someone who’s not here. realizing wentz had his warts and flaws that he needed blame for where accountability was or wasn’t there. However fans won’t ever hate their own team even if their team has also had countless screw ups

Such a weird narrative since the vaccine doesn't stop you from getting it, especially the Delta.

A fourth for Dillard is not nearly enough.

I'm glad someone said it. It drives me crazy how fans want to trade away players for considerably less than their value.

Was just gonna post that.

What am I missing here? Raiders are garbage, especially on defense.

Thought he was going to be a future Westbrook for us after his rookie year. Injuries will ruin a guy quickly in the NFL.

How is his value more than a 4th?  Or even a 4th?

He started at Utah as a receiver for 3 years ( including his redshirt year ) and moved to corner as a junior.  Still learning the position, but he has size, arm length and long speed to be an effective corner.  Maybe a new situation will get the most out of him, but he was outstanding as a senior at Utah.  I am sure @Utebird can chime in.  Here is his draft profile.

So who is going to be the surprise cut? I vote Ward.

I'm not in a hurry at the same time I also am not sure what to make of Dillard.  I would trust Howie to know what the market there is for him and what Stoutland thinks of him.  If the market is a 4th round pick and Stoutland thinks he's a potential starting caliber LT then, a 4th round pick isn't a good value.  If Stoutland thinks his upside is just as a limited back up then they should trade him.

It is the best defense to the disease is the vaccine and makes it less likely to impact the team.  There's no question that teams should take vaccination status into account.

Hurts.

Jordan Howard.

From one of the clones ( Jim Rome show )

I am surprised the Patriots cut Cam Newton, don't they know how good he was in 2015

Noted.  LeanMean said upgraded with minimal cost, you are replace from the waiver  wire with equal talent.  Nicer than a player that plateaued short of the line and no longer developing, my description.  Basically a player that can be upgraded at some point but can have value to a team may fit better.  JAG is basically in the eye of the beholder.  I agree on roles.  Scott is not a starting RB.  Ward should not be a starting WR.  But both have a function on the team until something better comes along.

I agree, and the fact that we are going into another year without something better coming along is why Howie should have been fired.
