That's why I loved Austin, summers were hot but humidity was more acceptable, you have to put up with one more month of excessive heat but basically skip winter except for a week or two. But my city is gone. Paved over by Republican lobbyists and California engineers and programmers.

Loved Austin, but that was decades ago. Go almost any place and hear good music, with all kinds of fantastic musicians dropping by, sitting in, or just heckling the musicians. Jerry Jeff walker was really good at that. He'd hassle them, they'd say, "You think you can do better?" "Give it a try," he'd say, and then he'd sit in.

Never got east of Turkey...yet. Tore my Achilles tendon at Machu Picchu (partial tear). Totally worth it except for that god-awful market you have to get through to get to the site. The first time I was in Florence the Piazza del Signoria had automobile traffic and tourists were at a minimum. Now it's a zoo, with nothing but crowds of tourists, all on foot. The Galleria del Academia, where the David is, had nothing but an interior room with the David and Michelangelo's slaves in the outer semicircular vestibule. The guides would give their spiel in the vestibule and no one would say a word inside with the statue.. Now it's loud and crowded, surrounded by a lot of mediocre art. I was lucky to go when I did, the first time. Pisa is a couple of gorgeous buildings, surrounded by Pennsauken. If you don't get to the Sistine Chapel when it first opens, you'll feel like a sardine in a can.

Howie has NEVER shown that he is willing to give up a kings ransome for anyone. 

Watson isn't worth the 3 1st rd picks Houston is asking for.
