Slay has been good.  But there is no way to judge anyone on this secondary.  Since they are being asked to play so damn soft.  It's a fair point.  When you have so many holes in the middle of the field, naturally the offenses are going to stay away from Slay and Nelson.  That's like saying "the brakes work just fine", on a car with flat tires.  

I agree PFF can be misleading, but in this case, I feel their ranking matches up with what we're seeing. 

We are 12th in passing DVOA, 25th in rushing. So our pass defense isn't getting annihilated because teams are avoiding Slay. Yes, the defense we play limits big plays, but Slay is playing well, which is all I've ever stated. He's not playing at an All Pro level by any means, but again, I think around 11th overall seems right.

Naw I'm done with him (my buddy has the PFF sub, he sent me that screen shot, he's a Lions fan and we were talking Slay last night). Bacarty isn't interested in any discussion, which I should've known. He just resorts to hyperbole and strawmen, which is exactly what a troll does. So I'm gonna just disengage with him at this point.

Also nice nugget, his rankings has Steve Nelson as 7th best CB, which totally contradicts his original theory that the other CB is so bad that's whose getting thrown at instead of Slay

@Bacarty2, Rakeem Nunez-Roches is the 5th best DT in the NFL according to PFF when you don't have a log in.  That 1 tackle for loss and and 1 QB hit must have made a huge difference in a game.  Just when I thought you could not look any more like a fool, you have truly outdone yourself today.
