Just to point out Miami is also a dumpster fire right now but it is Miami

Better weather, no income tax, and better party scene.

It stood , Pitt loses

the pick looked to be the receivers fault , wrong route , but he was already into the route when Pickett tossed it ,

I think Pickett will be a good pro a la Burrows, Jones, Rivers

@Original Sin Question: I despise Notre Dame but I really like that big safety. Thinking Cam Chancellor here. What say you?

I like him , impressive player , can play all over that D , reminds me of Simmons , that said as versatile as he is , not sure he is the best at any one thing

tackling  ? I like Brisker from PS

center field , ball hawking ? I like  Joseph from NW

I don’t think Hamilton goes top 5 , maybe not even top 10 , heck of a S  , Swiss Army knife type , but that isn’t always a good thing

I agree , he played lots of today’s game with injuries to his receivers , but he was still productive

Alright dick rod!

For the Eagles to win, they have to stop the run. The Lions WR corp is not going to set the world on fire consistently, so run stopping is key.  Will Gannon put those CBs on a bit of an island to stop the run?

And this is an interesting one on Hurts

You're surely not implying that Philadelphia is not as attractive as Miami with its no state income tax and sizzling hot girls ...... are you?

Given the trouble Watson has found himself surrounded by in Houston, maybe Miami isn't the smartest idea with all the sizzling got girls... Maybe Canada would be a better shout 😆

Game planning for the winless Lions run game is about as low of a point as we’ve had this century as fans

It is.  But it's a game where the coaches need to prove their mettle.  If you can't get it right against a team whose WR depth is thin and the roster depth is thinnner, it says a lot about you.

That back 7 is the key for GA , more so those backers

Fully expecting the Eagles to change nothing, thinking that if they make Goff go on a 10 play drive he'll make a mistake.

That's a pretty meaningless stat IMO. That's just saying on the long drives he was good and on the 3 and outs he was bad. 1 rb carry followed by 2 passes is not an unbalanced drive, either.

There is those backers , Dean is a stud  , who will slip to rd 2 , because he is lucky if he is 5ft 11

Nakobe Dean is just a flat out baller.

It's not a perfect stat, but the anecdotal part is that when the Eagles have a vague commitment to the run, the QB plays better. It doesn't account for throwing in the 4th Q to catch up, but perhaps identifies the underlying weakness of putting a QB whose game isn't the greatest, in to a situation where the team just won't run the ball at all, and thus being easier to defend against.

I would say… no.

Goff gets his 1st win, handing the ball off and hitting check downs like a machine.

Dean in early RD 2 would be a dream come true. Think he'd be there when the Eagles pick.

I think he will , he is short and it will hurt him come draft time , hate to say it , but he reminds me of Ernie Sims a little .

I got stats too

down 14 or more points:

31-53 (59%) 391 yards 4 passing tds passing tds and 3 rushing tds (7 tds overall) and 0 ints and a fumble

Within one score or winning:

83-133 (62%) 898 yards 6 passing tds, 1 rushing td (7 tds overall) and 2 ints

really the atlanta game skews the one score or winning since the atlanta game:

56-98(57%) 634 yards 3 passing tds, 1 rushing td and 2 ints.

I get that and running the ball more would probably help to an extent. But the way he’s framing it as if just another run or two a drive and he’ll magically be a better QB is what I disagree with. I bet every starting QB would be similar. Bad stats on drives with 1 or less RB carries due to short drives or 3 and outs because the QB is playing bad, and more than 2 carries the stats are better because they are coming on medium to longer sustained drives where the QB is playing well.

Pointing out nick foles and wentz also had great stats when we ran the ball. I believe both had the offense averaging 28.5 ppg when they ran the ball at least 20 times in a game.
