By the way, I'll be rooting for the following teams this week.

Raiders, Bills, Cinncy, Vikings, Broncos, Texans, Rams, Steelers

Bills is dumb, you should be rooting for Jacksonville to win, thus improving the Dolphins pick that the Eagles have.

Bengals, has no bearing on the Eagles.

Vikings, has no bearing on the Eagles.

Rams, has no bearing on the Eagles.

Steelers, has no bearing on the Eagles.

Huge difference between short term results and "rooting" and what you do.

And of course he is yet to explain what the BLOG rule is, because there is not one.

Lane, Fletch and Kelce, the last of the old guard it feels like (and BG). Seems like all except BG could be gone next year.

Big if true.

So what your saying is, you can only root for someone else if you agree with them lol.

Again got it.

I like the Bills, I like Mcdermott, I like Josh Allen. Go Bills

You are rooting against the Eagles rooting for the Bills.  Any Jacksonville win helps the Eagles Miami pick.

Nope, I believe you can root for who ever you want, when ever you want, why ever you want.

Weird concept I know... but seems like we have a lot of fans of other teams in here.

Nope, you root for your team, and anything that helps your team.  I am not rooting for the Broncos, I am rooting for the Cowboys to lose.

I am sure all your Steeler fan buddies will tell you the same thing.

Yeah I mean the Bills are basically our team up here, and I do enjoy cheering for them. But I will not cheer for them if there's any conflict that would negatively affect the Eagles. It's pretty simple.

I could be really wrong, but this feels like the divorce is happening this off-season.

If dead money weren't an issue the polygamist Eagles would be divorcing Cox, Lane, Brooks and perhaps a couple of others this offseason.

Very excited to see Tyree play finally.  Could very well end up being a preseason flash in the pan but still I'm intrigued.

Now just gotta get a QB who throws to the middle.

I have Stefon Diggs on my money league team, and have the Bills in the WU team league.  As long as they put up the numbers I need, win / loss does not matter.

Thats my bad, I was going to say something else, but it insuated that you were part of that reject. I'm ok with your opinions mostly. that other Ftard is a pos who has an issue with almost everyone on here.

You are the only person I have an issue with.  You troll, and when pushed, never explain your take.

Once again, what is the blog rule on rooting for other teams ??  That's right, there is not one.

JFC I don't want to defend him but you're digging too deep into the weeds right now with this ish just to slam BCarty.

Jax has about as much of a chance of beating Buffalo as I do of getting an all expense paid trip to the moon for free today.
I'm going to root for Buffalo because I have a lot of family from that area and they're a damn fun football team to watch and that city and fan base deserves a Super Bowl.

Just put him on ignore and stop the bickering please.  It's kind of annoying.

They have about the same chance as the Jets beating the Bengals last week ..............

Meh.  F Buffalo and everyone other than the Eagles for that matter.  Can't believe anyone cares about that game.

I watch other games for entertainment, and have a leaning, often due to impact on the Eagles... but when it comes to draft order, unless its something like the Dolphins, where the Eagles own their pick, I generally don't care.

If I am watching the Bills-Jax game... I want to be entertained.  I get impact on extended family.  I do also like, come playoff time, to see other fan bases get their first taste of a title when the Eagles aren't a part of the equation any more.   All that said, "Go Bills!"

(but if they lose, I couldn't really care less)

Can you let me know if you get a chance to bring back some rocks?  Also, say hi to Alice Kramden for me

You're missing the point.  You're openly picking a fight with someone 99% of us have on ignore.  It forces us to read the insanity and you and I both know that engaging is going to go nowhere.  Suppose he cracks/admits to whatever lunacy there's no EMB championship belt to be given out.  Just put the dude on ignore please so we all don't have to read through pages or drivel.

Also, the Eagles put themselves into this situation by sucking, refusing to fire Howie, etc and now here we are quarreling over 'draft position' when we've spent much of the past 20 years worrying about our own destiny, enjoying good football around the league and whatnot.  I for one want to watch good football, root for an underdog occasionally, see a team that's been in the pits of despair since the early 90's succeed (since our team has no shot at anything).

The FO certainly holds a large share of blame how it all played out. That doesn't absolve Wentz and how putrid he was last season.  Everyone here can't wait to dump on Hurts at every opportunity but Wentz was far worse last season than Hurts has been this year.

At the end of the day Wentz no longer wanted to be here after last year and the years of this FO and ownership putting him in uncomfortable positions.  Would have been better to fire Roseman if that was his grievance with the team but when it was clear that wasn't going to happen then for the sake of the both the team and Wentz a trade had to happen.

I'm not absolving Wentz of anything.  He was putrid last season. I'm not dumping on Hurts but I don't think he's going to develop into an above average starter. Wentz has played better this season.  He still is making some real bad mistakes but he's much better than Hurts.  I am not convinced Wentz will not regress.  I don't see how you couldn't say he is doing much better than Hurts.  Wentz is a better QB than Hurts.  When evaluating the trade over the next 3 to 5 years, what matters most is the QB that replaces Wentz for the Eagles.  In particular, that QB's performance vs. Wentz.  It's possible Hurts is the QB that replaces Wentz over the next 3 to 5 seasons.   If Hurts does not become or is not replaced by a better QB, this team will not be competitive.  I have doubts that Hurts can improve as much as he needs to do to be an above average QB.

It doesn't matter how Wentz is doing this season though because he had no interest in coming back to this team and wanted to be traded. The Eagles didn't trade Wentz so they could go with Hurts this season.  The Eagles traded Wentz because he was done playing for this organization and wanted out.

Do you really think it is 99%.  Are you saying only I and @4for4EaglesNest are the only people in the blog that don't have @Bacarty2 on ignore ??
