Me too, I remember after he left the oilers and everyone thought he was done and goes to Vikings at age 38 39 and throws for over 4990 yards each if those years then at age 40 has a down year everyone rights him off again and he goes to Seattle at age 41 and throws for 3600 yards + and makes the pro bowl.

Dude was amazing, sad he never got a ring either

I remember watching that Bills-Oilers playoff game where Reich brought them back from 35-3 or whatever it was.  I thought that Oilers team was going to the SB.

Nobody wants to see McNabb with his shirt off.

Can he box with a Tshirt on?

Yup I remember that game, that oilers team was pretty good, stacked offense good defense they just choked that game away to a backup QB.

Would have been an all Texas Superbowl with oilers cowboys, probably more entertaining than the blowout choke job we got from the bills

Oilers fan. That game killed me.  Closest I ever came to throwing something through the TV screen.  Pathetic.

Same day that the Eagles finally won a playoff game.

Completely different situations. TO produced in philly and wanted more money. OBJ never had a chance in Cleveland and wasted 3 years of his career on a Baker Mayfield. He wants to put up numbers while TO wanted to "feed his family”

The situations don’t matter. It’s how the player acts and what it does to a team. Let’s hear it from the player himself.

The roster isn’t an OBJ away from being a winner and contender. They need to rebuild and improve almost every positional group besides maybe TE and RB. Hence why I said from the beginning, if you want to build a winning culture he’s not the guy to bring in. Building a winning culture is going to include struggles and losing. Next year is likely going to be more of the same as this year.

Also, if you think he wasted his career with Mayfield what are you expecting with him playing with Hurts?

Besides all this you can’t just say "who cares what Baker thinks”. He’s the starting QB for them. Let’s be real about this, when has calling out or undermining the starting QB ever been a good move that works out for the team?

Funny thing.  I was really happy when the Eagles got TO.  I was even happier when they got rid of him.   Kind of like owning a boat, I guess.

I agree on clinical trials.  A safe viral inhibitor would be great, if it works out.  But those taking it are using it against approved guidance as currently approved because a lack of those studies.

I am not laughing at people taking prescribed amounts of human doses.  I do chuckle at the folks slurping the paste intended for horses. I chuckle at people that lick toads too.

Look, I have little resistance to people using drugs as they see fit. If the righteous hypocritical "conservative” politicians that "believe in personal freedoms” would get off their high horses and allow recreational marijuana to be sold and consumed in PA with its benefits to agriculture and the badly needed sin taxes in our coffers, I would be first in line at the local pot store.  I am a proponent of the Portugal model on drug decriminalization.  But my personal choice on Ivermectin is I want more scientific studies of the nature @Desertbirds referenced before I would feel safe taking it as a viral inhibitor

Agree with you on the Portugal Model.  Treat people like patients instead of like criminals.  But one of the major sources of revenue for this country is incarcerated citizens, which is one of 3 categories we lead the World in (along with number of adults who believe angles are real and defense spending).  The prison system is business for this nation and everything about this country is driven by the almighty dollar.  Europe again shows the way to something different and more productive, but we fail.

Pot should be legal nation wide.  It has negative connotations from the 50s being a 'black' drug, aka 'reefer madness'.  And no, I don't see it as a 'gateway drug' either.  Most of the people I know who smoke or otherwise ingest Mary Jane on a regular basis don't really indulge in other drugs.  That's more than enough for them.

Just like how in Europe sports betting is part of their sports (multiple English Premier League clubs have sports betting houses as their sponsor written across their 'kits'/ aka jerseys) and they even show odds during halftime, the more you decriminalize it here the better.  It doesn't hurt the EPL or EUFA model and they have commercials promoting betting both pre game an during HT.

Many people invest most of their lives in the pursuit of science, critical thinking, ethics, logic, literacy, the arts and so on. They do the work of achieving credibility and are committed to valid argumentation and reasoning. "Free thinking" without such work, and it is a lot of work, is just an entitled position that allows every dipsh#t with an opinion to feel righteous and self-important. It is a plague of ignorance and narcissism with the constant strategy of demonizing people who have put in the time to have a credible position on a topic. This is devoid of left or right disposition. Its George Will vs. Marjorie Taylor, It's Noam Chomsky vs. AOC.

Free thinking, entitlement, self-importance and laziness sum to the idiot nation that we have and all the "PC," "woke," "cancel culture," "the left," and other labels are propaganda tools to attack many free thinking people who have committed the effort and work to have credible positions on issues. Your statement that 99% of liberals have Zero idea of invermectin is just such self righteous drivel. You don't know this but your "free thinker" mantle fills you with the power to make unsubstantiated and ignorant claims as if there is a factual basis to them. Every time I take a crap I also take everything in, sit back, digest it and make a decision. Its about equivalent with your "free thinker" stance.

Chomsky is an expert in linguistics, unfortunately he thinks he's an expert in numerous areas where he doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground.

Being an expert in one thing doesn't mean you are qualified to talk about other subjects, as a number of Nobel Prize winners have demonstrated over the years.

I just want to reiterate for someone whose engaged to someone who freely admits she sun tans her butthole and genitals and also took advice from a taxi driver in Africa to eat clay, and then he gives that bat ish interview, but he still didn’t want to get into exactly what he did in Canada. I can’t even imagine what he did "for months” that he thinks built him up enough to be considered "immunized.”

At least it wasn't in the SB like Atlanta.

I mean ask the Jets, Jaguars, Texans if struggling and losing is worth it. Again you’re overthinking it man. Everyone thinks there is this science to a rebuild. There is not. Bring in talent. TB proved it last year. They didnt care what the talent was. 43 year old TB, Fournette, AB. They are winning. But yeah be okay with losing with a hope for the future. Its the loop the losing teams fall into.

I would take him but squirts can’t hit him so it’s pointless

Uh, TB spent 7 years drafting a team, THEN brought in a few veterans to finish the job.

Build the foundation, add a roof, then refurbish the kitchen.

Tampa Bay had the talent in place already from good drafting. They built the roster besides QB and then added more talent to it. Completely different scenario between them from last year and us this year.

Legit question. How many more wins this year does OBJ give us with Hurts and this defense?

They had really good drafting, and really good fiscal management to build up a crap ton of salary cap room to attack free agency and sign Brady, Gronk, Shaquille Barrett, Suh, AB, Fournette, and others.  It’s not sustainable for any duration, but they timed it perfectly for what their roster needed and got lucky to win a Super Bowl as a #5 seed, winning 4 (?) road playoff games.

Yeah and if Tom Brady didn’t come around they would still be a losing team. He makes their drafting look better. 2 years ago TB was a joke.

IMO 2-3 wins. I think we would have beat SF already with him. But you’re asking that question with hate already ready for my answer. You’re asking questions impossible to prove just to hate the answer. Its opinion. So with that said, prove to me he wouldn’t win 2-3 more games before discrediting my answer. BTW you can’t.

How the Cowboys season plays out has a big impact on how the eagles playoff chances playout.  That week 18 game, if they either have the #1 seed locked up or don't have a chance for it then it makes sense for them to just rest their starters the whole game or after a drive or a quarter.  Eagles should be right on the fringe of that 7th seed with how ridiculously easy the rest of their schedule is.  Especially if they pull the upset over the Chargers tomorrow.  Then they can potentially win out.
