The absurdity in the subplot of that show is there’s no way Jack wouldn’t have been doing both of them.  Neither of the girls had a steady boyfriend, and he was playing the field.

The same thing for Gilligan’s Island.  The professor would have been getting with both Ginger and Mary Ann, when his only competition was the Skipper, Gilligan, and Mr. Howell.

Roper over Furley for sure.  I preferred Jennilee Harrison over either Chrissy or Janet — too bad she was such a wooden actress

Gilligan sabotaged every attempt to get off the island, either he was tapping one, or was pretty close to it.  Real life, after his 3rd screw up the Professor poisons him and they’re off the island in a week.

Agreed, definitely Roper.

Cindy > Chrissy > Janet

Three’s Company:

Which landlord do you prefer?  Mr. Furley or Stanley Roper

I go with Roper.  He was a mean old f always cracking on his wife.  And the actor is from Philly.

Roper.

tate has become non football, remember I still own tate, and me and hpenis own RnR together, so enough with this 3's company crap, and gilligans island junk, we clear Lovey

Took my Covid test today. Negative.  Man am I relieved. Love my booster.

Still in the Texas Hill Country.  @greend Today I am staring out my sisters porch door and in her front yard is a nine point whitetail buck. She is in a developing area but I swear, if I had tags and a rifle, it would be the easiest shot I ever made.  Couldn’t have been more than fifteen feet away.  I would have paid to replace the screen. It’s the season still here. That damn buck was suicidal or he knew I was harmless.

Good WO draft , my likes
Burks

Doubs

Demus

Tolbert and

Austin

overall   the draft looks average , the best player in college football isn’t eligible  , I remember everyone saying how strong this draft would be , with so many returning do to COVID , hasn’t lived up to the hype

God bless Skeletor! Throwing your WRs under the bus cause QB is a funk. Great take

Still think the ideal receiver for us is Justyn Ross. And he might be available in the second.

There is no ideal WR for crappy QB’s

@4for4EaglesNest why would you make a confused face look for this post?

Is a soon to be 29 year old Le'Raven Clark who's played in all of 14 games in his career really worth locking in to a 2022 contract?  No idea what the guarantees are but he seems like he would be at the bottom of my priority list.   I'm sure it's a league minimum type of contract but when you don't have cap room and continue to add on to the dead cap just seems a tad be like a waste.  Even if the fear was another team claimed him off the PS, it would be for 5 games. Much rather keep as much cap space open as possible and use that on a younger player who has potential.

A. Because I knew it would draw a reaction from you.

B. I don't miss living in that part of PA with all of the Elmer Fudds running about, shutting down everything to go and kill innocent animals.

C. But mostly because I knew it would draw a reaction.

Didn't know you were a vegan.

If they sign him, it will be for the minimum and Stout has approved.

At this point they deserve some trust when it comes to building our OL.

Stoutland approved of this guy.  He's a great coach but that doesn't mean every signing is gold.  Back to my point, I'd rather bring in a 22 year old UDFA or 1st year player that Stoutland can get his hands on and develop.  Clark is who he is and offers next to nothing besides depth.

Listening to the ITB podcast with Banner…

* In regards to QBs, he said in his study that accuracy and processing are two of the hardest things to develop. He said it can get better and he would expect it would with Hurts, but doesn’t sound optimistic that it will improve enough to be the guy.

* He is good with all four extensions Howie gave out. He said Mailata was a probably $5M a year undervalue at $16M. He said Sweat has been fine at his contract and that $13M at DE doesn’t buy you a consistent double digit sack guy in this market. He said Goedert and Maddox got market value.

We've got 2 weeks to kill.  What are the go-to Christmas cookies in here?  If you have something different, share a recipe.

My wife's favorite is a greek butter cookie.  She will also sometimes make struffoli using her grandmother's recipe which is not quite a cookie but fried dough covered in honey.

Yep.  Her sister makes all kinds of dumb ish.  And most of them suck.  Our neighbor does those cookie exchange parties and has us try some every now and then.  Terrible.  Always something goofy too.  Pretzel sticks or powdered sugar or whatever.

My mom made two kinds when I was a kid.  Chocolate chip with nuts and without nuts.  That’s it.  Perfection.

Not bad but Peanut butter with a Hershey's kiss on top FTW.

My girlfriend and kid do the cookies while I sip whiskey by the fire. So here's a great Ole' Fashion recipe I stole from a place in Cape May.

2 oz Bourbon

1 oz St. Germain

Splash of Ginger Ale

1 Orange Slice

1 Lemon

4 each Amarena Cherries

Muddle orange, lemon and cherries in a mixing glass. Add bourbon and St. Germain. Roll and strain into a rocks glass. Top with a splash of ginger ale and garnish with orange and cherries.

I'd really like to learn how to make a great Old Fashion.  See so many different techniques that look so good.   Some of the hipster stuff with all of the smoking or burning of different things can be a bit over the tip but sometimes they are damn good.

While not a cookie....a small hard pretzel (Wege) with a melted Rolo and M&M on top is a sweet and salty treat that I can't get enough of.

Interesting will have to listen later today. Did you read the interview with EJ in the inquirer? It was pretty in-depth  it really didn’t touch on the second point. More focused on QB

Note to Howie.   Do not draft any WRs whose last name ends with 'or'.

I mean I blame this on Howie.
