I mean yes and also NC has something called a deer dog line.  Dog hunting of deer is allowed in most of the eastern part of the state.  It's a bit controversial because essentially people have dogs chasing deer across private property and the hunters driving around in trucks getting to clearings where the deer get flushed out by the dogs.

I am currently in the salt lick capital of the world.  Here in the Hill Country, they clear and area, put a salt lick in the middle of it, spread out some deer corn and sit up in their high priced deer blinds sitting on a case of beer and wait for the deer to come to them.  Not sure that qualifies as hunting in my book.  Of course, the deer are so plentiful that you can’t have a garden here without a deer fence.

NFL teams have film on Dillard and can make their own determination whether he's a starting-caliber LT -- I would say yes, but I'm paid $0 by any NFL club.

Just taking a cursory look at the top 50 rated 2022 NFL draft prospects I only see 5 OT on the list, of those I'd guess 3 would be LT.  If that were to hold true that means only 2-3 teams will be likely to draft a quality LT in the first couple of rounds in the upcoming draft.

My guess is Dillard will get traded before the draft; he's great depth, but teams don't keep a 1st round pick on the bench.  I'm guessing the Eagles get a 3rd round pick for him, but I wouldn't be shocked if they got a 2nd.

Not sure of Dillard’s value this year.  Good draft for OTs.

I think he doesn't really understand what coaches mean when they say "Hit the hole!".

If they deal him I’d want at least a 3rd but i still think a 4th is more realistic since he’s on the last year of his deal so whoever is dealing for him has to either extend him, use the 5th year option or let him play the year and see where they are after the 2022 season. With the rule changes to the fifth year option being exercised i don’t see a team exercising that right away considering he’s never started a full season from start to finish. I can see the return is likely less ideal then the eagles would like so he returns next year.

My girlfriend and kid do the cookies while I sip whiskey by the fire. So here's a great Ole' Fashion recipe I stole from a place in Cape May.

2 oz Bourbon

1 oz St. Germain

Splash of Ginger Ale

1 Orange Slice

1 Lemon

4 each Amarena Cherries

Muddle orange, lemon and cherries in a mixing glass. Add bourbon and St. Germain. Roll and strain into a rocks glass. Top with a splash of ginger ale and garnish with orange and cherries.

Not an Old Fashioned but you may like it. To me it should be a sugar cube hit with two dashes of Angustura bitters, muddled with an orange slice, then mixed with 3 ounces of a good bourbon. Cherries are an abomination. St Germain is an interesting counterpoint to the bitters. I may try it. No to the ginger ale.

I have been tempted to try a crossbow. I am left handed and that limits my choices of bows.

Just a splash of water with that bourbon and a few ice cubes will do.   If it is really good bourbon, just straight.  Seriously contemplating going to a local distillery near here and grabbing a bottle of their double barrel bourbon before I head back to PA.  My wife likes their younger single barrel.  Can’t imagine putting cherries in a good bourbon but they also have all these flavored ones nowadays so I blame the youth.

Well, deer are a menace.  My granddad, who lived in South Texas, made my brother and I sling shots so we could chase the deer off from his persimmon tree.
