QBs get too much credit.

When analyzing their play they should take drops and interceptions that aren't their fault into consideration.  Just like that beautiful throw that Joe Burrow made to Chase last week that hit him right in the hands in stride and Chase bobbled it and it got picked.  That shouldn't count against the QB.

On the contrary,  QBs shouldn't get credit when they just throw up a ball and the WR or TE has to stop, come back and out jump 2 defenders to make the catch.  QBs should also not have W-L records attached to their resume.

I'll admit Hurts has certainly had his fair share of catchable passes dropped to be fair. But the context of having your completion percentage skewed dramatically by screens and dink/dunk passes is also important.

While I am not a fan of Hurts, do not think he is the answer, and think we should look elsewhere for a QB, kind of stupid to not draft talent to help contribute towards that evaluation.

The physics the cop is explaining is wrong.   Bad idea.

Well I'm no physicist and I'm sure the cop wasn't as well and that deer went right over the top of my friend's car and he was going about 65 in a 40 mph zone towards a hill.

I mean ideally the best thing would be to avoid hitting the deer altogether, easier said than done.

If you drive slower it probably won't go through the windshield either.

Well in this case my friend was in a 40 mph zone, he was doing about 65 getting ready to go up a big hill.

When the deer jumped out in front of him and right over the top of his car.

Either way he was lucky, the deer not so much ☹️

When I was a senior in high school, I was delivering pizza in a small town, and had to drive through several areas with a lot of deer traffic.  Was coming back from a run past a local park at a lake, and saw a group in the distance.  It was just dark enough for headlights, and I saw them and slowed to almost a stop.  The group about 20-30 yards ahead of me all crossed the road, and then this dumb@ss deer I must have blinded with my headlights heard the rest of the herd move, and was right beside me, ran across the road, right into my front quarter panel, tumbled across my hood and off he went.   Did $ 1400.00 damage to my car and I was basically at a rolling stop.

Yeah they aren't the smartest animals, I guess at least it wasn't a moose...

Armstrong UVA in 5th. He has the arm.

He’s a lefty version of Philip Rivers throwing mechanics, except Armstrong is even more of a shot putter.  Him and Tebow are probably good comps throwing wise.

I hit a deer going about 45 mph in Vermont where I'm from/live.  It busted in my hood a little but but luckily flew up in the air and landed down into a gully.  I managed to keep my composure and pull over after a couple hundred yards into a safe spot.  Being the red neck town I'm from the guy behind me also stopped got out of his car and ran over to me and said "you going to keep that deer"?  Didn't ask if i was ok or hurt or care my sh!tty car at the time was damaged.

That said I've seen moose 6-7 different moose in my travels around Vermont.  They're obviously not quite the size of the ones that dude had on his TikTok and they also are getting massacred by ticks these day which is really putting a dent into the moose population

Well, the bad part was his lack of concern for you... but not wasting the meat is a nice thing.

Lol these deer stories....you should see what moose can do you if you hit them. Basically, you're dead. Their spindly little legs break easily, but their massive bodies are at just the perfect height to go right thru a windshield. They've even taken down greyhound busses. Mooses are not to be f'ed with.

I bet he had more receiving yards in any 5 game stretch than Reagor has his whole career... but to be safe, let's say a 6 game stretch.    Reagor sucks, and Jefferson is clearly the best of that draft class.   But, Howie just misses out on his targets because the Eagles are drafting too late.

I am, and the statement from the cop is bad and very misleading.  Yes, that deer in that circumstance went over the car.   But there's far FAR many bad things to happen when speeding.   That's a stupid statement for the cop to make.  Maybe... just maybe if your friend was going 30 instead of 65... he'd have had enough time to react and miss the deer.   The idea that it's ok to drive 25 mph over the speed limit because hitting a deer at high speed is safer than 'at the speed limit' is just HORRIBLE advice and it is NOT something that anyone should take seriously when traveling on deer infesting roadways.    I'd also mention that speed limits are set at specific values for specific reasons.  The engineers that design the roads don't just make up those numbers.

Yes... he was lucky.

I've kind of shifted on Ridder and soured on Corral. Ridder checks a bunch of boxes. In fact, he's probably the most palatable QB option in general right now for me.

As I got older my accuracy started suffering with my compound so I switched. It does have some advantages, but it also is a pain to carry in the wood and it stays cocked until the end of the day when you have to fire it to unload it.

What sort of range are you comfortable with he crossbow?

From the ramparts it's about 60 feet to the other side of the moat on his property.

I won't go over 40 yards. I haven't actually shot at a deer with it over 30. This years buck was at 20. I know people that shoot 50 plus and they even make one now that's supposed to shoot 100. Just way too much stuff that can happen at that distance imo

Nice to see Chase Claypool getting killed a little for his 1st down celebration when they're trying to drive to win the game.

Some of these MF'ers will celebrate anything.

When you hit a deer with a car there usually isn't much meat to be had.

Here is an interesting look.  If you take out all of Jeffersons 100 yard game, his 17 games of less than 100 yards are 1,015 yards.  Reagors 24 game total is 604 yards.

The first comment saying it’s hate. Apparently we can only provide statistics if they are good. Meanwhile I’m sure that guy was ok with the countless times bad reagor stats have been posted and never called it hate.
