We also lost 4 of the 5 games we played against playoff teams early in the year. New coaching staff. Young QB. In those 4 games we barely ran the ball. It’s our strength. Those games were actually learning lessons and have turned into positives and experience in my eyes. Again just enjoy it man. Be positive until the negative hits you. Not negative till the positive hits you.

yeah but, yeah but, yeah but, yeah but. What a mindset.

Combined record of teams we have beaten, 42-74-1

5 of our 8 wins are against teams in the bottom 10 in W-L record in the NFL

Combined record of teams we have lost to, 58-44

Mailata’s biceps are bigger than a normal man’s thighs

Yup, I chuckled watching him toss a pass rusher about 5 yards laterally.

First play of the 4th quarter the DE comes screaming upfield and Mailata swats him like fly and literally knocks the guys up in the air off his feet five yards sideways.

He's just so much bigger and stronger than everyone he faces.

We put up almost as many yards and more points against the Giants than the Cowboys did last week, so I guess if we are in trouble, so are they.

I agree that we aren't a perfect football team, but the notion that there is some kind of massive gap between us and the top teams in the league is really laughable at this point.

I would reword your final point to read "the notion that there is some kind of massive gap between us and the top teams in the league may be really laughable at this point."

Truth is, we don't know the answer to that question because we haven't played one of the top teams in quite a few weeks.

With that said, I am looking forward to finding out ... and very, very thankful for that opportunity.

No idea what this means but all the Eagles WRs are tweeting it

I know.

You just gave us 3, maybe 4 'yeah buts' to excuse the Eagles losses to the only good teams this team has played.  Of course, what we've learned during this season is... this team struggles every time they have to rely on Hurts to throw.

I said those games were learning lessons and they gained experience. They weren’t excuses. I never said they should have won. They were reasons we lost. They are facts. You are using them to doubt we can win these games in the future. I’m saying we can use the experience in those games to win in the future.

Today Joe Burrow threw for the 4th most yards in a game in NFL history with 525. Without looking it up, anyone want to guess who the 3 QBs who threw more than him were?

His two top receivers higgins and chase both surpassed 1000 yards this season becoming the first pair of 1000 yard receivers under the age of 23 on the same team.

Both are under contract for at least next 3 seasons

Those games we went 0-5 were SF, Dallas, KC, TB and LAC.

SF and LAC were close games.  All these games except the Chargers were very early in the year when the Eagles were pass happy and basically a joke of a team.

All I'm saying is they aren't the same as they were when they lost to those playoff caliber teams.

Well... we'll see if they are really a different team.

@justrelax I believe had some comments on him and the 'hype'.  I'll defer to him.  Also @BigEFly I'm sure has some words as well.  Testing vs tape/play are completely separate things!

Not a huge Humphrey fan but not surprised he is succeeding on a line where he fits. Would change our run schemes much like Herbig would as C.

Hurts keeps on proving he should be the guy going forward.

Dont know about that, hurts proved to me today that he still struggles coming off his first read and struggles with deep ball velocity and accuracy.

Sure, Nick

Part of me wonders if he's trolling or he really believes it ,either way he's really consistent, either consistent in his stance or a consistent troll and given his past history I think it's safe to say which he might be...

You know why Texas doesn’t slide into the Gulf? Oklahoma sucks.

Baja Texas is Dallas because no self respecting Texan can admire that town.

Actually Dallas below Northwest Highway is a damn nice place.  No true Texan goes above Northwest Highway in Dallas ... if they do they get a nose bleed.

Everyone talks about taking Jefferson instead of Reagor.  Wish they would have taken Higgins.   He's not as good as JJ but still very good.

No he doesn't, but I will ride him this season.  He isn't horrible, but he has deficiencies.   My main issue is he  is a touch slow processing .  There are throws he doesn't make that he needs to make.  He has to be faster with his decisions and his throws.

That being said, I'm all in with him this season.

nah. today easily got rid of any false hope he could have built last week.

Your concerns about him are something that is fixed with more time and comfort in a specific offensive system.  He has earned the chance to be QB against next season.

I thought higgins was the best WR in the draft, I wasn't as high on Jefferson as others and I also knew the league wasn t as high on Higgins because he didn't test really well at combine.

I would have been ecstatic if eagles had picked Higgins, I thought they could trade down and get him.i really liked his tape.

JJ has proven to be more than just a slot and Higgins has proven that he's athletic enough to play in the NFL.

Meanwhile eagles got reagor who I liked coming out as well but his NFL body of work looks nothing like what popped on his college tape

His PR today was a positive glimpse but those plays sadly have been few and far between.

We just played down to one of the worst teams in the league after being high coming off beating up a practice squad.  IDK that I'm looking forward to 'a challenge'.

I agree I think he should be given a shot to be the QB next season.

It's not unpleasant either.   We won.  They scored 31 in the 2nd half.
