Hurts had the one bad throw to Watkins which was underthrown, the ball to Smith under pressure was perfect, defender just made a great play. The ball to Reagor was perfect under pressure, either his man or no one makes a play. Two throws to Smith were incomplete due to PI, he was grabbed on both plays with no call. I don't know what more you can ask of Hurts after a game like this, it was the OL that struggled, especially in pass protection. You don't think they miss Brooks? Just look at the short yardage runs.

The problem on defense is simply, 2 Ss, 3 LBs, none who are even average athletically. Edwards would be fine if he had better talent surrounding him. Avery is fine in a 4/3 - 3/4 hybrid where he moves up to the LOS and attacks. Singleton, meh, makes a lot of tackles 5 yards downfield.

The best thing Gannon can do is blitz one of his LBs every play, b/c none can cover.

This is where having those extra picks in this year's draft will matter.

These are the players we’ve drafted in that range over the past 10 years: Marcus smith, Andre dillard, reagor, Nelson agholor, Danny Watkins. If you wanted to make it 14 you could include Barnett. We’ve been good top 12 or higher. 

If Howie makes those picks, we would be lucky to come out with 1 good player out of the 3. He cannot draft in that range, never has.

What about that flanker screen pass that he couldn't hit on?  Was that not a bad throw or was that on Watkins?

Yes it is. They have the exact same chance of ever taking a snap as an Eagle. In fact, Mahomes has a better chance at doing so some point in his career, but it’s still infinitesimal.

Dallas has to deal with the psychological thing of not been in a NFCCG for a quarter of a millenium. I think all the pressure from Jerry Jones and that team can't handle it.

Not sure, Watkins looked like he froze on the play. If it had been Reagor, we know who everyone would have blamed!

You can say it's unlikely, you can say it's a long shot, you can dislike the idea. Fine.

But Rodgers being traded here has a higher chance than Hurts winning a SB as starting QB.
