The quality of games is incredibly low this year.  There's been maybe 10 entertaining games all season (obvious exaggeration).

I don’t think they clinch. We’ll have the spot clinched, but not them. 

Crazy to think Rodgers will probably be on another team next year

Yeah, and I'm a **** for wanting Hurts done any way possible. I love the team and want to see them actually have a chance though and he's just holding them back. When he was out we saw a real offense. Not saying the stash is the answer, but at least the offense looked like a real offense and not a RB not seeing open receivers on every drive. Having them get in just to watch them get their asses kicked isn't something that is easy to get excited about.

That is what I was told. I was told they now need to beat the rams next week to be in.

That’s because they’re playing 17 games. If the season ended at 16 which would make today the last day of the season then only the eagles and niners would be 9-7. Since the niners beat us they own the tiebreaker. 

Since they’re playing 17 games, if the Saints and Niners both finish at 9-8 (eagles if Vikings lose doesnt get involved in this as they clinch in any 3 way tie between saints, eagles and niners as the worse conference record we could have would be 7-5 which would be better than one of Sf or NO). I believe it comes down to conference record between saints and niners since they didn’t play each other. If the niners lose next week they’d be 6-6 conference record. If the saints win they’d be 7-5. If we lost to Dallas then the Eagles would also be 7-5. So saints and eagles would get in. I believe we’d get the 6 seed.

It's weird but yeah, we have clinched before them, but if the season ended today we'd be out.

well whatever. too many what ifs. That person can have a make believe win in their make believe scenario if it makes them happier to feel negative in their make believe reality.

It’s true. We only clinch cause of tiebreakers. 9ers own the tiebreaker over us, but we’d be in in the event of a 3 way tie with SF/NO. 9ers have the 6th seed and we have the 7th at the end of week 17.

I never expected this team would clinch a playoff spot. With a game to spare even.
