OMG, dramatic much.  Life is great. The team does not suck, but it is not a playoff contending team.  The FO has major flaws, as does the QB.  Yes, our opponents have sucked.  Yes, all 3 of our draft slots suck.  We have multiple top 10 picks weeks ago, and we can't even get that right.  Being in the playoffs does not suck, until you are not.

You forgot you suck

We will see.  I know you're rooting against the Eagles in the playoffs so you're going to lash out at anyone who believes the Eagles might be able to pull off an upset.

Once again, more lies.  Here is my post from yesterday.

You can not find one person to back that up.  And unlike you, who had to be asked 50 times when it came to Foles, I want the Jalen Hurts led Philadelphia Eagles to win the Super Bowl.  I just don’t see it happening.

The 3 1st rounders do it for me.  Would be very happy with that.  Was Leal available at 14?

no he went 13th

I mean...who? Tyrod Taylor? Winston off an ACL? Mariota?

I don't see any franchise QB in there, so why waste the cap space. Maaaaaaaaybe Mariota is worth a look, if the price is right.

Foles or Bridgewater would be good stopgap QBs IMO

Interjecting, but personally, I think it would just be spinning tires in the mud. There might be a guy that could be a slight short term improvement, but they aren't going to get you anywhere either and will cost more than Hurts, so it's probably not worth it.

I wasn't thinking of getting one for the future. Just until 2023

Figured you would like that.  Good to see an playoff berth pulled you and @Gannan out of CVON for a minute.

Yeah there is your post form yesterday.  Doesn't erase the week you spent arguing why you wanted the Eagles to lose so they could have a drag pick a few spots higher than they will now as if that would make any significant difference.

I'd rather have a DE over DT from this draft anyways, Milton was a good pick and is already making plays, him and Hargrave/Cox can hold it down for at least another year, maybe two.

Desperate need for a DE opposite Sweat.

meh... rest them anyway. perfect timing for the big outbreak. It doesnt even matter.

I blame Hurts for mingling with the fans who fell on him. He brought it in to the locker room then.

Good week for a lot of those key guys to get it out of the way with.

I have never been less excited about a winning season of Eagles football and a playoff game ever. I just can't get there. They played horrible teams and were completely crushed by good ones. I hope I'm wrong but this entire season sure looks like fool's gold to me.

well...I guess that will settle the rest for the playoffs question for now..

I predict either PIT, WFT, or DEN will make a trade for Jared Goff

Garappolo to New Orleans

Giants will make a huge offer for Russell Wilson, and get rebuked

I did not want them to lose any games, what I said was feeding on the worst teams in the league and getting into the playoffs is a negative for draft capital, and this is not a team that can win a playoff game, let alone a Super Bowl.   And now instead of getting top 10 talent to improve the defense, we are in that range where Howie picks Barnett, Dillard and Reagor.

Question, would you rather have a top 5 defensive talent and not make the playoffs, or have the 19th pick and get waxed 45-7 in the playoffs ??

Is this scientific evidence that SWAG does not protect you from Covid ???

It's never a good time to get Covid, but if there's any week...it's this week.

Part of the new protocols is volunteering to get tested. I might be on the edge of pulling out my tin hat but I also wouldn't be surprised if the the strategy was everyone to volunteer now to test and get it out of the way if they could.

I’ve seen some people say the Eagles making the playoffs cements Hurts as the QB of the future. I’m not sure what it is about Hurts, whether it’s his personality or work ethic that people bend over backwards to try and paint him as the second coming. He honestly gets more support than McNabb ever did respective to what they accomplished and McNabb is arguably the greatest QB in Eagles history.

Hell, say what you want about Wentz, but as an Eagle Wentz accomplished more than Hurts did Wentz outside of 2017 got way less support than Hurts did.

I figured it was just Hurts is a likable guy, and that’s fine, if people like him they like him. But when I saw people just GUSHING over him dodging that railing yesterday and somehow equating that to actually football play on the field. "Look at the poise from this kid, Eagles fans are lucky to have a guy like that. He’s a true leader.” Because he dodged a railing leaving a football game? Then I was like ok this is weird, something’s up here. There’s clearly some coordinated campaign going on in the media, it’s pretty blatant now.

I don’t think Lurie or Howie by any stretch have decided on him as the franchise QB going forward. I think they’d have to make a deep playoff run. If the Eagles say get smoked in the wildcard game, I don’t think anything is going to deter them from pursuing one of the vets who could hit the trade block, but I suppose time will tell.

Too bad we can't F the Giants over in anyway if we forfeit this week due to Covid.

Maybe there is some strength of schedule scenario that would lower the Giants draft pick by us losing.  Maybe Carolina and the Jets would move ahead of them.

Facts.  Instead of just addressing my posts @RememberTheKoy, why don't you address others with well thought out points about Hurts.

If the Eagles lost yesterday and lose next week, they wouldn't get a top 10 pick. There is no missing out on top 10 talent because they made the playoffs. They would have been in the same range of Barnett, Dillard and Reagor.  Much like a lot of what you post, it's completely detached from the reality of the situation.
