Even without the injuries, Sanders is nothing special.

Easily upgradeable.

Lol, well I want to win the lottery and become rich! You can wish in one hand and crap in the other, and see what fills up faster (there's some poetry, @justrelax)

Did you miss the rest of my post where I stated the prime example is Wentz?  Missed more games than Sanders during his first 3 seasons but came back and only missed 4 games the next 4 seasons.  Checkmate.

(Since apparently this blog has turned into some sort of "need to win" every post and if I don't, I better insult them so I save face.  Pathetic.)

Bragging about a top 10 Running back is dumb in this day and age.

Theyre a dime a dozen and I cant tell you the last time a true bell cow was a major reason a team won the superbowl

Sanders as a pure runner is top 4 YPC both of the last 2 seasons, which are only his 2nd and 3rd year in the league.

The injuries, and the regression in pass catching are reasons someone might prefer a slightly inferior runner, or a player with a more well rounded skillset over him.

Is his regression as a receiver him, the scheme, or the QB ??

Youd have to choose some lesser backs over him due to injuries. But theres a  bunch on that list who dont run it nearly as well, and a bunch who are also injury prone.

I wouldnt argue that some of those guys are at the level of him as a runner. However I’d also argue some of those guys are better at pass protection than Miles Sanders. And I would argue some of the guys on that list are better pass catchers than he is as he’s regressed in that area

Curious as to whom you think besides cook, mccaffrey and possibly chubb who’s injury prone on that list of 10? Ekeler played 16 games 2 years ago, missed 6 last year and would be on pace to play 17 games this year (going to play 16 this year) if he didn’t miss one with Covid. Even before that he played 16 and 14. So even with the 6 last year he’s missed a total of 9 games in 5 years (one was Covid which is the same amount of missed games sanders has missed in a two year period). Mixon played 16 games two years ago, going to play 17 this year. Only year he missed significant time was in 2020 (in his first two years he played 14 games in each so missed 4 those two years whereas sanders has missed 9 in two years). Henry up until this year had missed 1 game . Before this year kamara played 16, 15, 14 and 15. In the two years he only played 15 was because the Saints rested him week 17 knowing where they were gonna be in the playoffs and where they were seeded. Chubb could be somewhat considered but he’s played 16, 16, 12 and this year 14 (missed a game due to Covid so without Covid should be 15). Harris is a rookie about to play 17 games. And Jonathan Taylor has missed 1 game in 2 years.

That's a huge draft and by huge I mean big

Should think about claiming this guy. With enough carries and his equal skill set he would be just as good as Duce Staley. Pair that with Miles "Westbrook" Sanders and we have a dominant early 00's rotation.

it began last year in a different system with a different QB. And the main problem seemed to be his hands. So I suspect its him.

Wrong.

Wentz played 16, 13, and 11 games his first 3 years. Sanders has 11, 11, 12. Try again sparky.

For all the knocks on Wentz being injury prone, he kinda isn't. He had the ACL, then the broken back for 2018, the concussion in the playoffs 2019, and the feet thing this year. But he's only missed 12 games over 6 years. That ain't too shabby.

Do we have betting odds on the person that will defend this on here?

It's why I posted it.  It's very similar certain posters styles...

He's being ratio'd so much, I am surprised he hasn't deleted the post outright to save his embarrassment.

Yes

And people wonder why analytics get no respect.   Rice ran WAY faster than that on the field.   This was before WRs had to skip bowl games to 'prepare' for the NFL Combine.   But, I'm pretty sure that time quoted here is 100% myth.   This guy is a fool.

Rice was "somewhat effective" in his day?   Dude rewrote the record books in every possible way.   That's like saying that Bezos has a some disposable income.

How the hell could you make this statement? Can you please show me one, just one, example of a guy who came into the league and had injuries his first 3 years, to then go on and be MORE healthy over the course of his career?

Stafford…but that doesn’t mean I disagree

He's heard of Jerry Rice, major props.  Anquan Boldin, that would be too obscure - I'm sure.
