But is there cheese or steak on the roll?  You know....the two components of a "cheese" "steak".

Cheese absolutely

Okay, but no steak in that cheesesteak sandwich, basically a buffalo shaved chicken sandwich cheesesteak style.  Wit onions or witout and gods forbid, do they put wiz on that or some sort of real cheese?

Chicken cheesesteak pretty much always has American.

What do you mean? We've got a ton of subscribers... well, 6...

I've thought about what we can do with it to earn the board some money, but we need 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watched hours in the past 12 months, before we could apply to monetize it.

If anyone has any ideas for it, let me know (mention me in the post if you do, so I'll get the notification).

With the right idea and an audience that watches whatever is put on the channel, YouTube could potentially pay all of the boards bills. We just can't use anything that's copyrighted. Like Shango, for instance. When he watches games, he can't show the TV.

One bite pizza reviews are huge.

Any foodies in here that would like to post food reviews in Philly area? It would likely get a nice following.

Random idea that could generate a lot of viewing time/comments is have a live stream "chat room” during games(not actually streaming the game since that’s illegal, could show anything even just a picture). Our members plus other public could have the in game chat/discussions on there instead of in here. Obviously the downside with that is it won’t be saved/accessible for the future but that would definitely log a lot of hours.

@VaBeach_Eagle

Maybe reach out to unaffiliated analysts/bloggers, like Matt Alkire.

They may want a home outside of twitter for their video content to raise traffic and recognition.

Yeah, I've definitely thought about that, because a chat room has been requested and that would create a chat environment.

I'll have to play around with that and see how it could be done. I may have to put a separate computer together for that or maybe use one of my laptops, because I watch the games on my main PC and that would probably interfere with the stream.

We'd definitely need at least 1,000 subscribers to be able to monetize. I don't know if streaming would count toward the 4,000 watched hours, though. We'd have to play around with it and see. Even if it didn't, it would at least give the ability to chat live, during the game.

I've thought about having member created videos to upload to the channel, it could be anything, as long as it doesn't have copyrighted material in it and the board's channel was given the rights to use it (because the creator of the content would be the actual copyright owner of the content).

I bet meatmcginley and his sweaty bro's are salivating at the idea.

Game-day rituals

BBQ Prep or other food results for tailgating or game day

New Eagle gear or man caves

Yeah, any of those ideas would be good. Anyone that wants to contribute a video and give the board the rights to use it, that would be great. I'll have to figure out a way to be able to obtain the videos (if there are any).

As for me, my only gameday ritual (for the past 20+ years), is watching the game while being on the EMB at the same time. I can't watch an Eagles game anymore without being on the EMB, also.

If they would want to give us the rights to use it and earn revenue from it, that would work. Well, even if they didn't give us those rights, I just wouldn't monetize their stuff but it would serve as content to get other videos on the channel some attention.

I'll do Wheel of Fish.

We could also do Stanley Spadowski's Clubhouse hosted by DireWolf

Back when The Simpsons was new and fresh and creative, there was a scene where Homer was lamenting all of the family's money expenses. And he said something to the effect of "...and we spend money for vaccinations for Maggie for diseases she doesn't even have"! The humor was obvious. Homer didn't understand the concept of the value of prevention.

This scene is what I think of when I hear people complaining about Landon Dickerson being on the active roster rather than on PUP. What I think they fail to fully grasp is that he is in essence a vaccination for the Eagles offensive line in case that Seumalo, Kelce, Brooks, or even Herbig suffer an injury at some point in the first six weeks of the season. In that case, he'll offer service to the team in the form of a spot in the starting lineup or as a valuable sixth man who could come in as a replacement during a game.

In my view, it is THAT flexibility and comfort that makes him worth a spot on the 53-man roster for the first six weeks of the season. And yes I'm aware that I'm making the assumption that he would be healthy enough to play if such a need arises. I consider that assumption a fair one.

I'm the complete opposite.  I can't watch an Eagle game while on the MB.  Unless the season is in the tank and I am on out of sheer comedy like last season.

Same.. No need to see every play, or penalty announced 39 times.
