everytime we play them... EVERYTIME

Nope.  Not today.   (Putting it in caps and repeating the mantra doesn't make it more true.)  There was nothing to gain for the Eagles tonight... so they sat their starters.  They did the right thing.

The good news is this game may prevent the NFL putting money making division games on the final week going forward.

They love doing that

Positive yards for Reagor

Good thing Siri was smart enough to sit the starters, these injuries...

Or we can just cut him

When he attempted the catch, the ball literally missed his hands, that shouldn’t be possible.
Everyone likes to have fun with him on special teams but the joke is over, he needs to go.

Maybe not to you. but to me it is. EVERYTIME.  We wont know if it was the right thing or not till they play next week. Dallas had NO issue playing their starters most the game

Its almost all division games across the league.   And they did get one really important game doing that... Chargers Raiders.  Winner gets in.

No surprise Dillard is injured AGAIN

Why are you treating him like he’s made of glass when he had someone land on the back of his legs

Sounds OK.

Eagles play it safe and rest their starters and Dallas risks theirs. So of course it's the Eagles players who all get injured.

Yelling "get up” three times at a downed player so loud the field mics pick it up isn’t taunting apparently

He is not even a starter and cant stay healthy.

They should have put that game in this spot.

This game is gonna leave a sour taste in my mouth all week. And if/when we lose next week, it will only get worse.

They put that game as the last game of the weekend... Sunday Night.   The NFL made the right call there too.    People will watch this game, because its Eagles-Dallas.  That's always an eyeball gatherer... which is why it was the primetime game, even though KC had more to play for than the Eagles or Dallas... so they were the early game.  The NFL knows what it is doing when it comes to scheduling and maximizing viewership.

They're playing the practice squad. What the hell is there to be sour about?

No major injuries today. Think the Eagles will get crushed by any team they play, but at least they'll be going in healthy. If it's vs the Bucs they have the leg up in that regard.

We did Minshew no favors tonight

He just wants to be mad about something I think

We're basically sandbagging the Cowboys, letting them get overconfident

We gonna lose the last 2 games we played this season, we gave up 50+ to the Turds at home, and we gave up valuable draft positions to do this...

we did let him have Smith for a couple plays. That was nice, wasnt it?

Exactly, cry me a F'in river over this useless game.

Another reason to make the scrubs run the defense you want is you never know when a spate of injuries hit. Maybe we somehow win our first round playoff game but lose Slay and Nelson to injuries. Or maybe Maddox gets hurt and Slay and Nelson get Covid.

Most of the deep reserves are scout team players. They don’t practice our defense all that much. This is a golden opportunity to play in our real defense.
