Hopefully he won’t lead us in tackles.

That would be a scary thought.

I want to see Mailata on punt returns.

I’d have loved to see them bring in Dillard to play LT  and give mailata the ball on the 1 and let him power his way in for a td

@4for4EaglesNest potentially more craziness and really sad that gabby might have been pregnant.

@e-a-g-l-e-s eagles! and @we_gotta_believe what are the two points of the argument.  It is hard to follow.

One is a bigger idiot then the other. They can't decide.

And this is coming from someone who likes both of them. Well except the basketball side of @e-a-g-l-e-s eagles!. Football season though we are besties.

Ha! While I obviously don't want him as a punt returner, I'd be lying if I said there isn't a big part of me curious how he'd do running the ball on short yardage/goal line plays.

Looks like we were thinking alike.

when is this going to stop! Why do we want to do this with Mailata but, it was never brought up with Lane? He is faster and actually played with the ball in his hands in actual American football.

Too late for lane now. We must seize the opportunity with mailata and learn from our lane mistake.

I know Lane was once a QB, but does he have much experience actually running with it into a crowd?

I think people are more interested in Mailata because the images of him plowing through people while carrying a ball are fresh in everyone's mind right now.

Lol in that case I want to see Mailata go for a deep ball since he is tall.

So your saying we should trade for Jason Peters and put the ball in his hands?

So we do a fade route like we did with haleem butler?

No I'm saying we should replace Kelce with devante and have Mailata run it up his back and dive over everyone while pitching it to hurts while in the air and then he reverses field to throw back across to Reagor standing out of bounds...

That will set up the next goal line play that no one will see coming a spinoss drop kick for 2 points!

See above for.the ultimate jape play

Can’t believe this is the first Mailata to FB or TE posts of the year. If he’s so good at LT I’d like to keep him there on every play.

BTW the athletes he was playing against in rugby aren’t close to the level of NFL athletes. He played on the U20 team.

A bottom 5 passing team? I’m expecting the Watson rumors to start again if there’s another bad outing in Dallas

I mean, maybe he didn't expect a bottom 5 passing team, but he got the team he wanted. Those actions have consequences. I don't doubt that at all, I also agree with those who have said if Hurts doesn't pan out this year, they will either draft a QB or trade for one. My money is on them trading for one and I still think it could end up being Russell Wilson.

Yup i think Wilson and watson are the two QBs they look to deal for if hurts doesn’t pan out.

Maybe. With the constant rumors of them wanting Zach Wilson and then Watson I’m not so sure this is the team he necessarily wanted but had to settle for.

I'm on the keep Mailata at LT side

That's fair.

I never said they did lose that game. However there’s still things that they need to be better at  cause a better offense with a better QB will smoke them getting just 2 QB hits and 0 sacks. Especially if you get 0 turnovers. Just saying Dak if he gets untouched like that with his weapons is going to put up more than 17.

I like to look at the things that need the most improvement first. If our offense only scores 11 on Dallas we will get blown out. Today's NFL is built to give offenses an advantage

The DB had his head turned around to find the ball, and ran his own path... there was nothing illegal that the DB did.  That was great coverage.

Reagor allowed himself to be redirected out of bounds, because he didn't give himself enough room to operate.  His initial stem was wrong, and the result was what happened.  DB did his job.  WR didn't.

I'll disagree, just because a DB gets his head around doesn't mean he can run into the WR and redirect his route.

Does reagor need to do a better job of the first 10 yards of his route? Yes.

And imo the DB still made contact with him, I've seen refs call DBs for far less and Ive seen refs let DBs get away with far more as well.

It was a big play, I don't think it was as egregious a no call as where Jimmy ward hit reagor 20 yards down field on his scissor route after the corner passed him off and ward would have been beat, if ward doesn't pretty much jam him it's a TD, Instead refs look the other way🤔

Maybe me expecting the refs to have some sort of consistency is unrealistic.
