But still have two open spots because of Ertz on the COVID list and Brooks/Graham to IR.

It still makes no sense to me how they use their roster spots.

Don't necessarily need a cart for ACL and players have continued playing on one in games after suffering the injury so this doesn't really rule it out.

Carson Wentz walked to the locker room with his ACL injury

If Mailata tore his ACL, as a 300+ lb lineman, he would have known it

Do not play him on a bad MCL. Give him the week off. Playing will make it worse.

Does this mean he won't be playing running back?

Gonna have to switch it up to Lane now

Ughhhh

"Recovery time for an MCL injury depends on the severity of the damage. On average, these injuries take six weeks to heal. No matter the grade of the tear, initial treatment focuses on immobilizing the knee and reducing pain and inflammation."

With the season over we can at least look forward to a top 5 pick

This is why I said I'd rather pay more at the end of the season to make sure he improved , can play at a high level for a whole season and stay off the IR. That's what I meant by too soon for the contract. Because this kind of sheet always gets us!

Trade for Peters

I'm not crying about 6 weeks if he can come back at 100%. An ACL would be a catastrophe

At least if mailata is out you are going to see if dillard can play at a high enough level. If he does then maybe you can trade him in the offseason and get great value or eventually start him at LT and have mailata at RT (I’d say the other way around but I don’t know how the transition for dillard to RT as swing tackle is going)

I felt like we had a decent chance Monday too in a game we kinda need for the division looking forward at our schedule for the next month compared to the Dallas schedule.

Micah Parsons is going to make Dillard his girlfriend.

If there's one game you have to start Dillard and Mailata misses, it's probably Dallas.

I'd rather not have him against the Chiefs or Bucs which would be games we wouldn't be winning anyway.

Eagles past history with Injuries says otherwise, but we'll see, sucks he won't play Monday night

Hopefully he gets right soon.

It’s just one day. What type of injury heals in a day that will stop someone from playing?

It's not about healing it's about recovery and every day matters. I'm not just pulling this out of the air it's based on things I've heard current and former players say over the years. I think it was Runyan who said some days he couldn't get out of bed after a game and it took days to recover and how hard short weeks were.

I just posted this in another thread, but I'll quote it in here also.

I scheduled the next Live Chat video to start on Monday at 7:45 Eastern time and it'll last 5 hours. So that'll cover a bit of time before the game and after.

If you don't particularly want to participate in the live chat, it would help the board's channel, if you subscribe to it. Right now, we have 35 subscribers. So we're 965 subscribers away from being eligible to apply for monetization. So subscribing would help get us to that 1,000 that we need.

Monetization would mean that we could have ads running on the videos and on the YouTube page where the videos run. So subscribing would help us get to that point. So please subscribe, even if you don't turn notifications on over there.

We sat starters in pre-season to avoid injuries. Howie's going to need to take it a step further and cancel all practices.

Well we accomplished that. Now we have to avoid practice like you said and playing in games

This is kind of a big game for Nick coming up. He’s already bordering on the pandering/meme level of a coach with the "Beat Dallas” shirt which is fine if you get the job done, but if the losses start to pile up and they get embarrassed Monday night people are going to get sick of the shtick real quick.

If he isn't practicing by tomorrow I doubt they let him get on a plane Sunday.

The rule is 3 straight negative tests, I think, spread out by 24 hours.

So, let's say he started to feel better on Tuesday... gets tested Wednesday, Thursday and Friday... boom.
