I haven't liked anything about Gannon's defense since the opener. He doesn't utilize his players' strengths at all. He puts them in bad positions all the time. Gross.

Which players have strengths in the back 7?

Greg Ward would be sad if you discount his contributions.

Listen Greg Ward is not a great player, but I got to give him a little credit. If I had to blindly pick one Eagle to score a garbage time TD, I would be Greg Ward. He is that annoying johnny hustle dude who is out there giving it his all even when the game is out of reach.

Nope, not that his players have many strengths but he hasn't.

They are totally wasting Milton Williams quickness and athletic ability.  I'd be lining up Williams next to Hargrave and saying good look IOL.

As of right now we have three top ten picks. Someone remind me how we got Miami's?

The Eagles put up 30points. Let's not blame the offense.

Come on… Everybody scores 30 against KC

Didn't think this was a bad game for Hurts, by any means, but he wasn't great either.

He can't stay in the pocket. He can't read a field. He gets happy feet far too easily. He makes stupid throws. He threw the ball out of bounds on 4th. He always tries to go to the right.

Wanna beat him? Force him to beat you from the pocket and force him to his left. He can't throw moving left.

Are you describing Rudy or an NFL WR?

The offense looked good against a defense they should have looked good against.

Regarding red zone...there were some good calls there, but execution failed.  Hurts missed Ertz on one skinny post early.  On a similar play in the second half the throw was a bit high, but the refs missed DPI.  Two TDs to Goedert and Ertz taken away by penalty.

Regarding run calls...Sanders was 7 for 13 behind an OL of backups.  As @ManuManu said, the quick throws were basically an extension of the run game.

Regarding the defense...our back seven is really bad.

You can start with having Slay on Hill no matter where he lines up really. Nelson should never be near Hill 1on1. Or Wilson. Or Harris.

When they traded up to 6 this past draft.

That's 1.  Which also means man to man almost exclusively.

Anyone else?

We traded down from 6 to 12 and got Miami's first in the process.

Oh yeah. And we still got Devonta. Win win

This weeks prediction winner is @Iggles25, coming closest with Chiefs 45 Eagles 24.

Bonus prediction winners:

@Casey @ Bat Chiefs don't punt more than once.

Probably @Swoop Hurts rolls right more than 7 times.

Gotta give Howie props for that, he fleeced them in that deal.

Big boy drive by Zach Wilson.

The redzone issues are so bizarre considering you have a decent starting RB with a good backup RB, a QB that excels at running the ball, and two of the better TE in the league

A positive from today is Reagor wasn't involved and I don't think even had a touch til the end of the game. If he did, it wasn't many. Phase him out, he sucks. Give all the balls to Smith and Watkins.

Honestly I am most closely describing the undersized "rudy-esque" white dude who always seems to be at the courts when I play a game of pick up... but I see greg ward as that guy, he is a grinder and makes the most of his limited abilities. So I made the leap.

Odafe Oweh just had his 2nd sack of the year for the Ravens and looks like a force.  How can the Eagles continually fail at adding young, talented playmakers on defense?  I don't understand.

Jinxed him. That should have been ball game.

Jets at the 1. Third and goal.
