It wont heal in 4 weeks. It doesnt. It cant. If they take the splint off then, it will still droop. And at that point, he may as well not have missed the 4 weeks because not a damn bit of difference was made in that time. 

It takes 6 minimum. He is either going to play with it and risk fumbles at the QB/Center exchange, and inability to grip the ball because he cant get his fingertip out of the way to open his hand first, to grip it. 

Or, hes not going to play and at that point it only makes sense to let it heal. Which will take 6 weeks. 

 

The question is, does he try to play with it, or not. 

Id say, if he tries to play with it, he wont make it through the first or 2nd game and will decide to take the necessary time off.

When out the woods, moose are actually my greatest concern, specifically bulls in rut (which is almost over I believe). I ran into a huge bull last September, thank god before rut had started. They are big, and when in rut, very, very angry.

This message board is not free.  There are folks that put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into making this a possibility, especially VAbeach_Eagle and the Mods.  Many long time participants in the Blog made generous contributions to the go fund me account to get this up and running and continue to try to utilize the methods afforded us to continue to fund this opportunity.

Since you feel that "free” message boards are what is wrong with society and decline to make an effort with your proofing or even thinking out your posts, it seems nonsensical that you would bother to post here.  Are you saying that you are what is wrong with society?
