The last good WR this team drafted was DeSean Jackson. Smith doesn't have the same raw speed as DJax, but he is the total package in terms of route running, deep ball tracking, ability to get separation, and good hands.

I'm not worried about size with DeVonta Smith, if he is on the board at 12, you have to take him!

That first round pick is an exciting one. The fact that we got Smith and ended up with an extra first next year is a great job by Howie and the FO. He deserves credit, a lot of credit for that.

Just watching some more of his highlights, the guy is very impressive and i'm really pleased we've got him.

Despite his size issues he looks pretty physical and makes some extremely athletic catches that he possibly wouldn't be able to make with more weight.

Still i'd imagine that he''ll need to put a few lbs on and hit the weights in the off season.

I think he's going to be a great fit, just hope that him and Hurts can have a good connection which i think they will.

He's also such a polished route runner and so smooth that he's most often on his own and not within range of a defensive player. He's such a technician that he sets guys up and he knows what he wants to do with them.
