Setting up a meeting publicly where the 2 sides clearly don't agree and one side has been making wild accusations for weeks leading up was asking for a blow up. Others have called it a set up to get Zelensky to pop and look bad. I'm more of the mindset that Trump et al is just that arrogant and set it up expecting him to just acquiesce under the bright lights. Either way it was a very bad look.
