The US could help Ukraine fight off the aggressor, but trump is requiring natural resources for assistance. How is that showing a spine or putting freedom above money? I respect your view even if I disagree

March 21Mar 21 2 minutes ago, Diehardfan said: What solutions do you have past us being on the ground to get them back Well, the article you posted showed Russia's gains were almost completely stalled until we pulled support. Maybe go back to supporting Ukraine without US boots on the ground? That seemed to be working really well.

March 21Mar 21 Just now, Diehardfan said: You glossed over the troop issues. Yes, Russia had to bring in North Korean troops. They ran out of prisoners to throw in the front lines.
March 21Mar 21 5 minutes ago, Diehardfan said: What solutions do you have past us being on the ground to get them back Drones, planes, missiles… Let’s get the old gang back together again… NATO. I bet we could "negotiate” with our allies to provide assistance without putting US troops on the ground in Ukraine.

Read the title and their points about their troop numbers and training levels.

March 21Mar 21 5 minutes ago, Diehardfan said: What solutions do you have past us being on the ground to get them back The nation should fight back Every nation should penalize Russia for the attack The president should condemn Russia for the attack instead of trying to be buddies with them Those are just the first 3 that come to mind

March 21Mar 21 6 minutes ago, Diehardfan said: Ok. I don't see them being able to endure the attrition let alone take back land. We can disagree My point stands… You are ok watching a dictator take whatever they want from a smaller country unable to defend itself without helping them, when we have the ability (IMO, the responsibility) to help them. You don’t deserve the freedom that others fought to give you.

Putin is Hitler 2.0 who wants all of Ukraine and more of Europe according to some. You think he is ever going to let Ukraine win or ever give back all the land like Z said from the post that started this debate? He has no respect for life on either side. At best this goes on for years and ends or he keeps gaining. Either way they are losing land it is just a matter of how much. Russia will notbe defeated unless we go in. Why not settle now and stop the atrocities and death?
