They know that nothing will happen if they don’t hold up their end of any ceasefire. Sure, they have the upper hand and way more reinforcements, but the idiotic "deal making” of this regime has emboldened the Commies even more. It’s their mentality and always has been. Showing weakness only makes them hungrier for more.

There is only one way to deal with Putin/Russia.  I understand a bunch of young bucks from various places in the US don't get that but sometimes the old bulls are right.  Especially those closer to the enemy.

The thing about Putin is that he is one of the old bulls and fantasizes about the old ways of the Soviet Union. He was a KGB operative in Eastern Germany and knows exactly how the West works. He studied every aspect and knows all strengths and weaknesses. That’s why he is head and shoulders smarter than Trump and knows exactly which buttons to push to make him do Putin’s bidding. It’s sooo obvious and no one in this administration of cult followers can tell him any different. He only has "yes people”, which is never good in any administration or business IMO.

Always happy to help out the expat community. The military community overseas was a tight knitted community and it was a fantastic experience, even during the Cold War. Americans were looked up to back then and most of the local national community enjoyed having us around. 🥳

That’s the type of quote that shows the idiocy of Trump and his followers passing on Russian propaganda. On one hand they claim that poor Russia had no other choice but to fight back against NATO and western expansion / aggression, but on the other hand they were getting fed by the Germans and other European countries with billions and billions of euros / dollars to build up their economy & war machine. Which is it? That’s why Putin has no legitimate reason for his unprovoked attack on Ukraine. The Russians were making a fortune selling their gas and oil to the west. It was stated in the Treaty between NATO and Russia that they no longer viewed each other as enemies. Even mutual military exercises were talked about. 
 

And then Putin came along and year after year he took more power and made Russia an authoritarian state. He became more and more power hungry and his ego of his past Soviet KGB times started to fantasize about recreating the Soviet Union & more. He wants to undo the loss to the west and will not stop until his goal is achieved, or just like Hitler, his country goes down. He doesn’t care about his own people - it’s all about him and his goals…
