June 15Jun 15 Outside of Rogue One, everything star wars outside the original trilogy was underwhelming, and even a lot of the OG love is nostalgia talking. Its a very uninteresting franchise IMO.

June 16Jun 16 Their biggest problem is that they always managed to overcomplicate bad stories. Unnecessary back stories. Unnecessary characters. Unnecessary side quests. Etc. Pretty much 2/3rds of the characters in the sequel trilogy could have been eliminated. Poe and Finn should have been one character - an elite Tie fighter pilot who disobeys orders to bomb a village, gets shot down and finds Rey then they both join the resistance.... Simple. Clean. No map to Luke Skywalker. No Knights of Ren. No Maz Kanata. No Rose. No Captain Phasma. No master codebreaker. No sith dagger. None of those characters or plot devices were necessary.Most egregious was the Admiral Holdo BS. It should have been Admiral Akbar who went out like a boss. Instead, they killed him off in a different scene with no fanfare and instead tried to turn it into some blue haired boss babe because they wanted to be #FeministAF
