January 16, 20223 yr For this team to be successful, we need our QB to be able to throw downfield (to our players). The ability to make plays with his legs is fun and can be dangerous to defend against. But without the ability to throw downfield consistently and accurately, this is as good as we'll ever be. If Hurts is the future for this team, he needs to develop as a pocket passer. Otherwise, we need to look elsewhere.
