January 16, 20223 yr How many GMs in NFL have no football background like Howie? And by no background I mean not as a player, coach, etc. The eagles are doomed. The 💩 boys will own the division for a couple more years.

January 16, 20223 yr 17 points of 6 drives isn’t anything to write home about but at least the D got some stops towards the end of the half there. Can’t have the offence not scoring a single point in the first half. Cant keep putting ourselves in these massive holes every time we play a decent team

The ability to make plays with his legs is fun and can be dangerous to defend against. But without the ability to throw downfield consistently and accurately, this is as good as we'll ever be. If Hurts is the future for this team, he needs to develop as a pocket passer. Otherwise, we need to look elsewhere. The question is how patient is everyone willing to be to let that development happen?

Only RB to have rushes is Miles and he only has 4 of them. What the F is he supposed to do when the offense has had ONE possession and they are already trailing the GOAT QB 14-0 because the DC is a fraud who is scared shitless to ever blitz. They were put in a position to have to get away from the run and try to get back into the game quickly because of Gannon.

Draft defense Agree with all except Minshew. He can remain back-up. Bring in Aaron Rodgers for a year or more. Let Minshew learn from him and see if it sticks after AR retires.

January 16, 20223 yr Establish the run in the 2nd half. Under center runs - no shotgun RPO garbage. If that works that’ll set you up for other things. It’s what’s worked for us up to this point. There’s an entire half left. The problem is Siri and the Off were in panic mode at 7-0 so nothing I just stated will matter.

Devonta has a CB playing about 12 yards off of him. If you rifle it out to him, it is an easy 5 yards +. But, we just ignored it. I don't know if that is all on Hurts. But, I don't know if they trust his arm strength to fire it out that fast to get positive yardage. And, he isn't processing his progressions fast enough. He should've seen Watkins on that fly pattern. He had time.
