Interesting. If we would be interested in Jordan Davis, Id assume its because they feel he has the athleticism to rush the passer. They seem fairly set there at least with starters in Hargrave and Milton Williams. But sounds like theyre looking for a more traditional NT instead.

Which can definitely still be Davis. Travis Jones another one as stated in the tweet. Ogbonnia is another, who seemed to do pretty well at the senior bowl as well.

The wrench in this is that Hargrave was a fantastic NT in Pittsburgh and can easily go back to doing that. And, Cox is capable as well. Considering he is losing his rush ability it probably makes a lot of sense to put him in this role. And, we have seen players play well in to their 30s as just middle of the line block eaters. It could extend his eagles career.

So, Im not sure if they legitimately think they need a NT, or if this is a smokescreen. Because they have 2 proven outstanding NTs on their roster already.

#1) Good for Mailata. Hope he becomes a star.

#2) there is an approximately a 0% chance that Jenny McCarthy and half those morons know who Jordan Mailata is, and watching them pretend otherwise makes me unreasonably annoyed.

Hargrave is 29 in the last year of his deal.  They are far from set at DT.  Jordan Davis is my #1 target/hope for the Eagles in the first.  Well him and Kyle Hamilton if Hamilton dropped enough into trade up range.

Eagles for sure need a DT in the first two days of the draft.

Hargrave being 29 is pretty irrelevant in the NT discussion.

Of course they need a DT or 2. Im trying to discuss what kind of DT. Honest scout suggests theyre looking at NTs. Ive assumed we wanted all 3/4/5techs who can rush the passer. And though Cox and Hargrave can do anything, theyre both excellent NTs so not sure you need to draft an NT. Could be a smoke screen and the eagles actually look to draft another 3/4/5tech guy.

Tua is sadly better than Hurts.

True and what is REALLY sad is that Tua is no good.

KC Chiefs: We’ve come to the decision we have to trade TYREEK HILL (mostly for cap reasons).

Didn't KC offer him a similiar deal?

Despite his CB listing, Pitre is a S who can play slot. So you essentially took 2 safeties back to back. Bonitto also projects as a 3-4 OLB, not a DE. I give this 1 Howie out of 10.

I would give it 9 out of 10 Howies.  It sucks and we would hate it.   Very Howie.

Irrespective of whether or not the Eagles would actually do it, if the Eagles used 2 of their 3 picks, whether at their current positions or via move-downs, on Ojabo and Jameson Williams(two injured guys) would you approve or no?

I would. For one, I kinda want the Eagles to suck next season anyway for a higher draft pick in 2023, so full or partial red shirting of two rookies is fine by me. But I Fing know when they get healthy they're going to be stars and it's going to come back to bite them if they pass on them.

And naturally if the Eagles take them with their luck they'll both have their legs amputated by October. But in all seriousness, I think if you love a talent, and if a guy gets injured your reaction is "Ok, let's take a guy we like less just because he's currently healthy" then you're missing the point of the draft.

Again, the Hill trade is the most fascinating shift and thought experiment in years.

You have knowledgeable people saying he’s a solid, but replaceable WR with great speed.  AR, Mahomes, and other weapons drive that offense and they won’t skip a beat.

You have others saying that he is a rare, impossible to defend weapon that makes that offense go.

Well…Hill goes to a different offense with a respectable supporting cast.  Mahomes and AR lose Hill, but have plenty of ammunition to address their weapons.

If Hill is tremendously successful and Mahomes steps back, every 5’10” 4.2 wr with quicks is going in the first round.  If Hill fades into oblivion and the Chiefs don’t skip a beat, then no team will sit content until their HC is AR/Mcvay or their QB is Mahomes/Allen…screw the rest of the roster.

To quote the great TO, get your popcorn ready.

Cox wasn't good last year and openly complained about the way he was being used, (as a NT).

While true hargrave was a good NT in pitt, he's got a year left in his contract and after starting in fire really petered out towards the end.

I'm honestly not even sure why they re-signed Cox, I still don't think he's worth the money he's being paid and doesn't really fit what Gannon wants to do.🤷‍♂️

I think Davis would fit well in Gannon's D or really any D, guys his size that move like he does dont come around often, I think one can build a D around him.

Which is a weird scenario because how many people that watch that garbage know who Jenny McCarthy is.

That’s what is out there but who knows. This happened all so fast between the trade and new contract that it likely was being discussed for weeks. I think it’s likely Chiefs leaked that out there to soften the blow.

Imagine if the Dolphins, with their current roster, had drafted Herbert instead of Tua.

Play to watch starts at 3:25. PSU DB #9 comes on to screen at about 3:32. I believe that would be Joey Porter Jr. who I was really hoping would be in this draft but returned to school. But man. How fast is he?

If you believe the KC newspaper, the answer is "No.” he wanted fulfill market value and they weren’t going to pay it.

It's insane how stacked Georgia was this year. You can have entire drafts with JUST Georgia players that look fantastic.

I ruined a LOT of tube socks due to Jenny McCarthy in the 90’s.

If you only draft Bama, Georgia and Cinci you can have an insanely great draft.

this thing is so broken haha

Pretty sure Cox took less money. Would suggest he is ready to accept smaller role. Maybe play NT snaps and not be chasing sack stats/complaining.

Howie won’t forget, he will draft several zeros

- Brian Flores, apparently

Instead of the Chiefs trading away Tyreek to get a cheaper WR, imagine if they didn’t draft a first-round RB…
