I'm a sucker for American Pickers, Pawn Stars and Storage Wars even though they are rigged.  I ignore that and enjoy learning about and seeing old items.

I’ve been wasting a lot of time watching Curse of Oak Island. It’s typically 35 minutes of fluff, 5 minutes of something interesting, and then the preview for next week’s episode.

I have a sister who watches it religiously and thinks they are going to find something.  I try to explain to her that the History Channel is owned by Disney....it's all entertainment.

I’ve been a staunch advocate of not drafting a R1 WR again this year but I’ve changed my mind for one guy if he’s available at 15…Garrett Wilson. I would not trade up, and he probably won’t be there. But I’m highly interested.

Interesting. If we would be interested in Jordan Davis, Id assume its because they feel he has the athleticism to rush the passer. They seem fairly set there at least with starters in Hargrave and Milton Williams. But sounds like theyre looking for a more traditional NT instead.

Which can definitely still be Davis. Travis Jones another one as stated in the tweet. Ogbonnia is another, who seemed to do pretty well at the senior bowl as well.

The wrench in this is that Hargrave was a fantastic NT in Pittsburgh and can easily go back to doing that. And, Cox is capable as well. Considering he is losing his rush ability it probably makes a lot of sense to put him in this role. And, we have seen players play well in to their 30s as just middle of the line block eaters. It could extend his eagles career.

So, Im not sure if they legitimately think they need a NT, or if this is a smokescreen. Because they have 2 proven outstanding NTs on their roster already.

Hargrave in the final year of contract and Cox same would seem to counter your thoughts about either. 30s is when DTs decline.

There’s no new ideas for sitcoms, a plane full of people disappear, Lost, Leftovers, etc…  Years ago every show had to have Vampires, then Vikings, and all the fake reality shows.
It’s almost come full circle that the original, scripted reality show, Professional Wrestling is now the most real show on TV.

Hargrave being 29 is pretty irrelevant in the NT discussion.

Of course they need a DT or 2. Im trying to discuss what kind of DT. Honest scout suggests theyre looking at NTs. Ive assumed we wanted all 3/4/5techs who can rush the passer. And though Cox and Hargrave can do anything, theyre both excellent NTs so not sure you need to draft an NT. Could be a smoke screen and the eagles actually look to draft another 3/4/5tech guy.

I have said that I think that Gannon wants a hybrid defense. I think a NT That requires two blockers is a must.  I suspect that by the same token that when Kelce retires, Stout wants a bigger C for the same reason, to counter NTs.

Clear your schedules, folks.

Not NTs. Big heavy guys are hard to move even when they're older.  Not like you're asking them to be athletic and rush the passer.

Hey I mean, he’s an improvement over two of our current guys. At least that’s exciting.

Last two seasons…Pascal: 82 receptions, 1013 yds, 12.4 ypc, 8 TDs. Reagor: 64 receptions, 695 yds, 10.9 ypc, 3 TDs. Pascal is also one of the best blocking WRs in the league. Not saying he’s a superstar by any means, but he’s definitely a better football player than Reagor and JJAW.

Pretty sure Cox took less money. Would suggest he is ready to accept smaller role. Maybe play NT snaps and not be chasing sack stats/complaining.

He didn't take that much less money.

He's making 14 mil this year, that's a lot for a part time NT that isn't a very good NT.

LOL  I remember someone joking with me after last years draft that we will draft Olave in the first round this year.  I don't remember who it was.  It was because I am tired of drafting WR so high and failing.  But seeing some mocks.  I guess I won't be to against the idea.    Not as much as I would have thought.

Yeah not interested in Olave. My targets:

He’s a productive 4th WR. I don’t know what is so difficult for so many to understand. Plus, he’s supposedly tremendous in the lockerroom. Plus, the coach specifically wanted him, which mean Sirianni has a voice in the room. These are all good things.

What makes you say that? I think he holds up well at the line

Guess Ridder isn’t happening

Eh, we don’t attend every pro day of everyone we draft. There’s no chance none of these CIN players are on our radar.

I thought his contract was worth up to 14 mill?

This is the Eagles and Howie Roseman we're talking about...

Yeah it doesn't seem to matter if we do attend or not, for both, who we pick, and more importantly who we pick that we totally miss on. Being at their pro day doesn't seem to change Howie's pitiful hit rate.

As I understand he'll count little over 14 million on the cap this year.

Saw Maybe This Year on Hulu. That game is 5 years old, shi still made me cry lol

It randomly appeared on a cable over here a couple of months, while a bit hokey in places, certainly took me back to that season. A little tear or two was shed here too
