People here will still use mental gymnastics to keep their delusions of drafting a QB alive.

You're the one using mental gymnastics that they're satisfied with Hurts. All indications are to the contrary. Actions, not words, matter.

If AJ Brown is actually available, we should be knocking the door down. He'd be the perfect fit in our WR core and is available this year (4M). We'd have to extend him, but if we could extend Calvin Ridley we can obviously afford Brown.

If AJ Brown is truly available, that's a must trade. Fits exactly the type of wideout we need.

We aren’t drafting a qb

You sure he's really making 14 million?

As I understand it's 14 against the cap, whether he makes that much.

And what when we have pick #14 and no real QB's are available and Falcons, Seattle, Giants etc are picking before us and need a QB too?

Howie is not shy to move up for a QB

Not in front of her

Eagles are interested in bringing Avery back.

You ever consider that so many are desperate to upgrade QB for a good reason?

For good reason? No. So many here just want Hurts gone noatter who the QB whether it's an upgrade not.  It's a pathetic level of hate since he took over from Wentz.  He already proved a lot of people wrong last season when the only thing that mattered about Hurts was completion percentage and scoring in the second half and he improved on both of those things.  Just makes people want him gone even more now because he's making a lot of you look like clowns.

Just like the ones that still use mental gymnastics and think Hurts can make all the throws and his only weakness is youth.

What throws can't he make? Only throws would be 65+ yard bombs down the field with a flick of the wrist that only a small handful can. You're one of the worst offenders here when it comes to weird hate for Hurts. A lot of stuff that can be interpreted as race related.

Serious question: do QB prospect pro days really mean anything?  A bunch of scripted throws in shorts and more biased measurements...wow great stuff.

I'm having a hard time remembering the last time we heard "oh man that QB had a really bad pro day, definitely dropped him down the board".

Maybe I'm missing something, just seems silly to me.

Remember when Kyle Boller knelt at the 50 and launched a pass from his knees( no protests though) and those on hand were wowed that such a Hurculean feat could be accomplished and he went 1st round 😒

Zach Wilson put on a show at his pro day and went 2nd overall and I think most scouts in GMs in attendance really just wanted to meet his mom...

NFL teams are fickle, I can't imagine anything a guy does at a pro day is going to be anything anyone already hasnt seen on tape🤷‍♂️

When Joe Namath was first recruited at Alabama, Bear Bryant introduced him to the team by having him stand on the 20 and throw kickoff practice to the other goal line.

Because of puppy training?

Teddy Bridgewater is the last one that comes to mind.  He still ended up getting drafted at the end of the 1st round.

I know people LOVE Jordan Davis because of the combine workout, but I'm hesitant to spend a pick that high on a guy who was too overweight and out of shape to play more than 22-25 snaps a game in college. Kudos to him for shedding weight for the combine, but what happens when he gets a big contract. Is he going to stay motivated to keep in shape? Big risk.

Yeah, we are the ones that look like clowns. :roll::roll:  Coming from the guy who puts people on ignore after Hurts stinks it up in the playoffs and did not want to endure the wrath.

If it's a cheap deal and it's a camp comp between him and Patrick Johnson to backup Reddick, I'm fine with that.

Wow, 61%. Amazing. 16:9 TD:INT ratio. Superb. And yes, his scoring in the second half was great...especially with all the garbage time stats when defenses played prevent and took naps on the field in 4th quarters.

Anything over the middle of the field or to his left.

I am a Wyatt guy. If they want the big NT, go get Farrell in the 5th or Butler in the 4th. I have no problem with a big NT in the rotation, but I want attacking DT's primarily.

We will just "monitor his situation" and make sure he doesnt gain weight.

Great trolling is what ill chalk this up to. I dont hate the guy or him beng QB1 but if we can get a better QB with more potential then i don't see the issue.

I see RTK is getting so worked up he's race baiting again 😂

History channel.  I remember when it would show.......you know.....actual History.  Old war docs and ish.  It's like MTV now.

AHC - American Heroes Channel is pretty good.

History Channel does offer a few nice things though.   I enjoy the "Food that Built America" series... I caught one episode of "I Was There" (Hindenburg) and thought that was good.   Also the recent documentaries on Grant and Lincoln were both excellent, IMO.  There's supposed to be one on Teddy Roosevelt coming up, I'm looking forward to that one.   But, their 'good stuff' is few and far between now.

I'm not having this debate again with the most short sighted person on the board. AJ Brown is the prototype of what we need across from Smith. Trade Hurts, start Minshew, draft a QB to ride the pine, get AJ Brown = profit.
