Stick with the midnight green.  The Kelly green will always be associated with the underachieving Cunningham era

And the Kelly Green is also the era that led to championships in 1948, 1949 and 1960.   Midnight Green is foreign to this team.   The black is gross.

"He’s working with different people," the Eagles coach told reporters gathered in South Florida. "I’m not going to put his business out there, but he’s working with some different people in Southern California to throw. I’ll let you guys do the digging to find out more about that."

Hurts is working with a QB coach in SC. Wonder if it's this group:

Dedeaux is now the CEO of the company and one former NFL scouting executive said he believed Hurts is likely working closely with the former Los Angles Dodgers hurler. "I think Jalen’s trying to synchronize his feet to his vision so he can kickstart the mechanism as he progresses through reads and just tighten up his motion a bit," the exec explained.

Dedeaux may sound familiar to Eagles fans for his work with Carson Wentz before the QB's 2017 run to an MVP-level of play. Injuries and the pandemic limited Wentz's offseason work since and the alarm in failing mechanics has sounded.

Note, Dak and Trask, Johnson proteges, both have worked with 3DBQ.

I thought once he was cut, he would've had much higher cap hits. I thought it was restricted then cut then a new contact. Unless the post June 1st cut designation was because of that....

Yep.  Cut with the June 1st designation to lower the cap hit for this year ($2M freed up on June 1st)... and avoid the roster bonus for this year.  Then they sign him to a $14M one year deal, almost making the cost the same as it would have been to do nothing.

Nah, there was a lot more to that "era" than that

Cant remember the exact year we changed colors but this is close.     Since switching to Midnight green we have been to the playoffs 15 times   Since 1960 with Kelly Green only 11 times.

I'd stick with the Midnight green. 6 NFCCG appearances  2 NFC Championships,   2 SB appearances and 1 Superbowl win in only 25 years -  Since the changeover to Midnight green- Made the playoffs 15 times only Missed the playoffs 7  in 22 seasons in Midnight green

Kelly Green:

3 Championships before most were born, all pre superbowl era  - 1 NFCCG Game, 1 NFC Championship, 1 SB apearance - 1 SB Loss-        Since ( and including) 1960 -Made playoffs only 11 times,  Missed the playoffs 27 times in 37 years

Nah you can keep the Kelly Green

Thanks.  The Eagles should have kept the Kelly Green.

I read the profile on there of Tom House, who is widely regarded as a great QB trainer. It lists several of his success stories, like Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Alex Smith and Carson Palmer. All of those guys were fantastic at being able to read a defense and throw with anticipation. Can House work miracles to help Hurts with that? It's one thing to work on mechanics, and Hurts should be heavily focused on his, but the bigger concern most of us have is with Hurts head. His inability to progress through reads, throw guys open, etc.

Weren't there stories last year that Hurts was the one pushing to wear black jerseys more often? If so....one more thing to want him gone for

I know for certain this is racist as hell

Kam was a SS backed by a FS with speed and CB level coverage skills.  Neither did as well without the other.

Same can be said for most defenses, they should compliment each other.

For many, the Randall Cunningham era is what turned us in to Eagles fans.  That's the team I grew up with.  I was too young to realize the diva Randall was but I know I loved watching him play and I loved watching the defense.

Yes, they won the SB in Midnight Green but the AR/Donovan teams were full of heartbreak and disappointment.  Those teams were the height of my fandom and they did nothing but lose when it mattered.

Visually, Kelly Green just looks better than Midnight Green.  Sometimes it looks turquoise, other times it borders forest green and it can look black.  I think it's a terrible color for apparel and even though 90s nostalgia is a big thing right now, the Eagles uniforms, logo and wordmark are all very bad 90s stylistically.

I'll dissagree about the color. I personally like the Midnight green better, I hate FLAT colors on helmets. This isn't 1950.  The only thing I liked about those uni's were the silver pants.

we have won far more with midnight, than without it.

I do think The Midnight green on todays jersey's do not look near as good as it did in the late 90's early 2,000's, before they switched uniform companies, the new comany screwed the jersey color up.  It was much better before. But THe Helmet color is still vey good.

Yes, the color of our jerseys were why we were successful.

Eagle's were 1-0 with the blue and Yellow.... So we're basically the best team ever

Nah man- I have painful memories of the Kelly Green era. Not so with the MIdnight green. It's about the associations.

Instead of all black this year it would have been cooler to go all midnight green

I see the work on arm strength is progressing slowly:

He’s currently working on running on beaches with Rocky, give him a break

Yup, I like the all midnight green during the Rhodes era.

The most Howie move ever is to trade down from 19 for a pick in next year's draft and use the resulting late 1 or early 2 from this year's draft to take a shot at a QB and make him compete with Hurts.  Not saying I'm suggesting that but that's a definite Howie move

Brady sat for a year then was plugged into a dink and dunk scheme for three seasons before the blinders were taken off in 2004. He developed into the GOAT, he wasn't that guy the first few years of his career.

Brees sat his first season, struggled for two years in SD, before he broke out in his fourth season.

Alex Smith didn't have a QBR over 50 until his 7th season.

Carson Palmer was a 25 year old rookie who broke out his second season as a starter.

Yeah, I know. What a horrible thing to say!

It's gotta be ideological with you. Not sure how you can hear criticism from two different teams in completely different markets in consecutive years and not acknowledge this guy has major flaws and needs to hold himself accountable.

I take a late rd flier on James Houston , make a nice 34 OLB , he wrecked offenses  and was a QB nightmare

Dink and dunk ??? Was Donovan McNabb a dink and dunk QB.

Brady's 1st full season as a starter ( 2001 ), 12th in AYA, McNabb was 10th.  6.4 vs 6.5

Brady's 2nd full season as a starter, 21st in AYA, McNabb was 15th, 6.1 vs 6.5

Brady's 3rd full season as a starter, 8th in AYA, McNabb was 12th, 6.7 vs 6.4

Don't you hate posting nonsense knowing that google has the answers ???
