Of the big 3, he is my favorite prospect. He has flaws that are correctable but packs an elite arm, played the best competition, and has mobility.

Biggest knocks are durability concerns and the offense he comes from.

I am planning to open a new Blog sometime between the Draft and the start of OTAs in May.  The new Blog would go through Training Camp.

The idea is three per season, Off Season / Grass Time / Regular Season.

This is also a window into how pathetic my life is, as I put some serious thought into it.

Racist!

Why take Corral in the 1st when you can take Strong in the 2nd or maybe even 3rd?  Strong > Corral

Now you've went and gotten @TorontoEagle all excited

I know TATE wants us to go defense heavy, but if they draft Corral then go all in to support him.

Draft the best WR available at 18, and if a guy like Pickens or Pierce is there at 51, consider taking him as well.

You have enough capital to rebuild the defense in the coming years, focus on supporting your QB in the present.

The first two throws, these are throws Hurts is either unwilling or unable to make.  Need to have the slant in the offense.  Good route runners can get open immediately, and one mistake by the defense creates huge YAC possibilities.  Devonta would get 1st downs on slant routes, and Watkins could house a couple of these.

Yeah, our skill positions are a lot better than their numbers last year. Most of that is on Hurts' limitations, and then the run heavy offense we had to run, but the talent is there for a prolific passing offense.

We do have a glaring hole at WR2 which is why I want a guy like Wilson or Williams in the 1st, but our WR1, TE, WR3, scat back, and elite O-Line are in place.

So yeah, if they believe Corral is a franchise QB, take him, draft a WR at #18, and let's go.

Just give us time to **** about the Howie picks before the OTA.

I disagree with the bolded.  If you take Corral at 15, need to use the other pick on defense.  There is plenty of WR's in this draft that you can get in round 2 or 3.

I wouldn't risk it, if you draft a QB, all your chips need to be in on supporting him in every way possible.

We have more than enough picks to fix the defense in the coming drafts.

Like Bill Polian says about Corral -- he's a "feet first" QB.  I really have no interest in him at all.  He weighs 205 lbs at 6'2", and just will not hold up to the NFL physicality with his build.  His only chance at NFL success will be as a pure pocket QB, and he's a long, long way from that at present.

It would be a definite wrong turn for the organization to draft him.  Drafting Hurts was crashing through barricades, though ... so there is that.  Will he be better than Hurts?  Likely, but I don't see Corral as a solution at QB.

This whole Alex Bohm thing is really impressive.  Read the quote below from Ertz.  Same vibe.

I think Epps and McPhearson are the fallback options.

I don't buy that. I'm guessing they fill one of them with a FA and draft high for another. Who knows though, they could be content.

I for one love secondary holes.

I think the 5th year option is huge given the premium salaries QBs command.  Hate to agree with ESP but that's a valid argument for taking a 1st round QB...provided that QB is a 1st round talent.  Would never suggest taking a 1st round QB just to get the 5th year.
