Olave could 100% be a high volume guy, although he's probably not the deep threat some hope he will be.

Wish he were better after the catch. Seems like a separate and fall down/get tackled guy.

Williams is the deep threat , but he is thin  , not sure he sees the same success in the NFL  , needs to get stronger

I like Olave a lot, every ti,e I watched OSU he was making a big play down field. He doesn’t seem like a high volume catch guy though, which is what you want if you’re taking a WR round 1. Or was that just the OSU offense and could he be that in the NFL?

Olave didn't have to be high volume because they had Garrett Wilson (70/1058) and Jaxon Smith-Njigba (95/1606) on the same offense.  Not enough balls to go around.  Add to that Jeremy Ruckert, Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka getting targets too.

Over averaged nearly 16 ypc over his 4 year career.  Pairing him with Smith would give the Ealges ELITE route runners and if they can find a QB to get the ball to them the passing game would be extremely dangerous.

It's crazy the amount of WR talent OSU has been bringing in (Jameson Williams included).  Harrison and Egbuka are going to blow up this year.  Stroud should be the clear favorite to win the Heisman with that WR room.

Does anyone buy Jameson Williams going top 10 or smokescreen. I want him badly, but wouldn’t trade up for him unless it costs like a 3rd or 4th.

So he's Jeremy Maclin. That's worth #15 overall.

Williams, Olave and Wilson are all built nearly identical.  6-1/6-2 guys hovering around 185/190.

Yep , I’m bias to London , I think he will be a stud

Olave with Smith with DG down the seem would be epic.

drafting a guy top 20 who's gonna get 50 targets is moronic. Especially when we have a trillion holes on defense and the NFL allows you to draft WR's whenever you want. Including next year.

If we had a rookie QB who can throw/read a defense and you wanted to draft an WR2, and they can grow together. Great

You know your going to let Minshew start and want to pick a wr2 this year. Great

But if you are 99.99% sure your coming with Hurts there's no need to waste a resource drafting a WR that early.

He won't be able to grow. Won't be able to learn and if anything not getting the ball they'll regress.

I'm surprised at Kenyon Green and Tyler Smith. Are we seriously thinking about going OT high?

Also, 7 out of 17 prospects are D-lineman.  Pretty much can guarantee that one of those 1st round picks is going to be a D-lineman.

Notably absent: Devin Lloyd, who is someone I think a lot of TATErs wanted.  Also absent is Tyler Lindbaum, although his stock fell after the combine.

That's a lot of money for Geno Smith.  You gotta be kidding me.

I think the first WR goes off the board at 10 when the Jets pick. It will either be Wilson or Williams.  I think the Jets will go defense at #4, probably Sauce or the best pass rusher that is left.

Normally I'd say I'm okay with them taking a QB if they love one but 2023 is supposed to be a lot better. How do you justify taking one in 2022 and then in 2023. Or maybe we miss out on one in 2023

It would be absolutely hilarious if we do take a QB in the first round just because of the Hurts fans though. That would be an entertaining meltdown

If the Eagles do take a QB in the 1st, it won't be because of the fans.

Biggest fear is that one of them goes higher than expected, maybe 5-7 and it starts a run on WR before 15.

There are enough holes in the roster just going BPA at every pick is a sound strategy.  If WRs go early maybe a stud edge rusher or DT will be there.  I'd love for the Eagles to take a first round CB like Booth or Stingley but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Best thing for the Eagles first round would be for QBs to go off early and often.

Its not a bad thing to lose out on a guy like Olave, or Williams. Lots of WRs in this draft.

Falcons at 8. Unsure who. My guess Wilson from OSU.

Also think the Jets take Williams or London

I think the Falcons will go QB. I think they go Willis.

In this scenario, Wilson, Pierce, and Watson all turn into #1 receivers wherever they go.

I don’t think Murray gets traded, but if he does it’ll probably be the Saints, so kiss the value of that 2023 pick goodbye if that happens lol

It's a Saints move, but Murray wants a massive extension. To resign him would cut their cap. They would also be giving up both 1s this year to do it...so they wouldn't have the requisite WR or OL help for Murray.

IMO, our best case scenario is the Saints getting another QB via their draft picks.

Wow. I knew you were a piece of crap, but this is beyond the pale.

I hope you find some meaning in your life.

@Original Sin’s comment wasn’t the most diplomatic but he does have a point. There are a lot of crazy people out there and you found one of them. Hell, in Texas you might have gotten shot. I agree with the poster who said throw the book at him but we all should just walk away from those instances. Nothing good ever comes from them.
