We know Hurts was over-drafted in the 2nd round.  The question would be whether Nick and Frank would have had any interest in him as a 3rd round pick.

I mean yes but Siranni is now the Head Coach here.  He may have thought Hurts was a potential starter.  It doesn't mean that he thinks that now.  He may really like Hurts but just believe he's never going to be good enough to win with on a consistent basis.   I think it comes down to whether Siranni believes he will be evaluated based on his performance next year despite having a not great QB.  I think if Howie/Lurie sit down with Sirianni and say that he's safe regardless of Hurts' performance.  He will be given a fair shot if they move on from Hurts after next season, then they aren't likely to take a QB.  My other thought is Sirianni could meet with a kid like Corral and really be impressed at his interview.  He then looks at his arm and thinks he can make him into a good QB.  It's easy to look at some of these QB and see more potential than Hurts even though they need more work.  I can very much see a situation where Sirianni feels much better about taking a QB this year instead of waiting.  I can see Howie acquiescing to the pick because he's absolved of the blame if the pick goes wrong.

Nah a couple of folks who I had the most respect for in here straight up said Westbrook was in the wrong. I know who...not that the respect of some rando on the internet should mean anything at all, but it didn't go unnoticed.

He tailgated me for a mile before I pulled into the right lane and flipped him the bird (obvious justification for assault in some folks eyes). Then he brake checked me (road rage) so I pulled around him and sped off to my exit. He followed me and stopped beside me, got out and damaged my car and sped off to the nearest gas station.

I pulled into a public place with multiple witnesses present with the sole purpose of getting his plates and calling the cops after he kicked my mirror off and kicked a dent in my fender, in the middle of traffic. Multiple witnesses attest to the fact that I didn't get out of my car and didn't even see the guy coming because I was pulling up my camera on my phone. Perp fled the scene and was arrested the next day and charged with aggravated assault. He sits in jail right now, so actual witnesses (not wannabe tough guys on the internet) and the police sure seem to think I wasn't in the wrong.

Sorry to hear about that man.  There's a lot of maniacs out there.  Years back, I got cut off in Albuquerque.  Throw up my hands like wtf. Next light the guy pulls a gun on me.  But, I guess I deserved it because I escalated it 😅.

He's got a nice completion %. He hasn't thrown for 4000yds yet. He had 3971yds in 2020

Not sure who he'd be compared to

His stats aren't that great for a huge mega deal but there's likely potential

Damn, that happened to me at the '08 NFC Championship game.  Went to the bathroom at halftime wearing a Dawkins jersey and got jumped by 3 guys.  Walked out and told the cop standing outside.  He looked at my jersey and said I'm on my f'ing break.  I f'ing hate the Cards and their thug ass fans.
