I keep seeing them, too. I don't go out of my way, but FFS.

Good for Ward. Good contract for the Browns too, as Ward is a top 5 CB.

Browns have more dollars than sense.

Didn't they just pay Watson a ton of money too?

What sort of salary cap hell is in their future?

Don't like trading up for Davis. Would take a DE there, or maybe Stingley.

I wouldn't move past the Texans at 13. But if him AND Jermaine Johnson are on the board, I go Johnson every time.

Not one of my faves, Mike. Ross to me is just meh...as is Elam at 19 for our scheme.

I think it's a pretty safe pick as well. We already know that he'll be a good two gap DT as his floor but he also has the potential to pass rush based on his athleticism. If you whiff on a one gap DT because their pass rushing doesn't translate to the NFL well then you're really unhappy.

That's my biggest like about Davis. His floor is a giant effective run stuffer, and his ceiling is astronomical.

Speaking of mock drafts, we just completed our yearly EMB mock draft.  We are assigned an AFC and NFC team, and then 10 days after the new league year starts, we draft, make trades, etc.

I do not think Howie Roseman will do near as good a job as @eaglesfan0075

It's because of race let's be honest.  I'm not the only one that has pointed out the clear issues with race some in this blog have when it comes to QB.  But it's very obvious.

Dude, seriously...STFU. The Eagles have embraced minority QB's as long or far longer than any other team. Cunningham, McNabb, Vick... We don't dislike Jalen because he's black. We dislike him because he's at best, average.

Unfortunately, the Trade of pick 16 and 19 for 18 and the future 1st, etc. changes everything.

You know far more about orthopedic injuries than I do.  I remember when we first drafted Sidney Jones.  I was lukewarm because I thought he'd be a nice target in the 3rd...thought 2 was a little early.  But I still got on board and was excited to see what the first round talent could do after his recovery.  I spoke with one of my buddies who is an ortho for an NFL team.  He instantly bashed the pick on medical grounds.  He basically said you lose 1 year to recovery, then another year to re-gaining confidence on the football field, which will likely be a disappointment.  Then you've burned through half the rookie contract and have a 24 year old with a confidence problem and a monkey on his back because everyone is disappointed in him.  "I don't know what their team docs were thinking allowing the GM to draft him there."

That was about 1 day after we drafted Sidney Jones and was pretty damn prophetic.  Every player is different, but that definitely made me view achilles injuries in prospects differently than acls.

I was more critical than anyone here, and everyone hated me for it and didnt believe me that he was a horrible pick in round 2.

But DE is a different position which returns better from achilles than a CB does. And the eagles really botched his PT and made the situation far worse for him.

I already said I am plenty confident in Ojabo to return this year. Wont be all the way back with explosiveness but should be good enough to help.

The Eagles have yes, but this blog is not the Eagles.  It is a collection of fans.  Many of which had issues with McNabb, Vick and now Hurts.

When people are saying he and Tyrod Taylor have had "an early similar projection" when that makes no sense at all and then also the example pointed out earlier on this page that many of you take shots at Hurts for "swag" when he is nothing more than an extremely mature, professional and serious young person meanwhile you have Minshew carrying himself like a class clown it makes it impossible not to notice the one factor in all of this tying it together.

Ed Kracz said on his podcast that Jalen Reagor was granted permission to find a trade but was told they need to find a team willing to give up a 2…

Overvaluing his own again...   A cheese sandwich is more than Reagor is worth.  Maybe even just a cheese stick.  The chance to be rid of that guaranteed salary would be enough for me to take basically NOTHING in return for Reagor.  We save $4.2M by trading him.  Trouble is, the acquiring team would take that $4.2M on, and I doubt any team is really looking to do that for him, even with the insane cost of WRs currently.  He's just not worth it.

This is the worst race baiting troll take every.

Blog does not want Hurts, blog wants Wilson, blog wants Watson, blog love Randall, McNabb, Vick.  Blog obviously racist.

Why do you give him the time?   More importantly, why make the rest of us suffer him by quoting him so much?

The same people that want Hurts gone would've taken Russell Wilson, Watson, etc this offseason.

Let me clearly outline this for you, you basement-dwelling mouth breather...these SAME people that you are accusing of racism for not liking Hurts would have wholeheartedly embraced Russell Wilson or Deshaun Watson (Watson probably a little less so due to his legal troubles). It's not a color thing, it's a not sucking thing. Now, take your BLM flag, turn it sideways and stick it straight up your candy ass.

Yeah, cause Wentz gets tons of love when we say he sucks. Hurts sucks and he can carry himself professionally the bleep out the door.

Here's one with trades for those who value that sort of thing

18 for 23 and 55 with AZ

23 for 33, 65, and 106 with JAX

I was on board on the concept of acquiring Russ; you and I disagreed on that.  I figure Russ still has 4 good years left, but would never have traded two 1sts, two 2nds and 3 roster players like DEN did.  Wilson wasn't interested in coming to Philly but I'm glad Howie essentially got "outbid" by another organization that overpaid.

Anyone unfortunate enough to study my posting history knows the two players I despise more than any others in the NFL are Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers.  Last I checked, both of those guys are white.  It would test my fandom if the Eagles ended up with either player as starting QB; that's my level of distaste for both people.  I do know, however, that both of those guys are a massive upgrade over our current starting QB -- even at their advanced ages.

It's a sad commentary on the low intellect of people who would default to skin color to explain what they don't wish to understand or acknowledge.
