I'd take a Hall and Ebiketie over Karl too. This McDuffie just screams Howie pick. 

What am I missing with McDuffie? He looks like he would be a solid corner opposite Slay. Is everyone scared because he is from the PAC-12?

What I find interesting is that mock drafters have Thibodeaux at 2 and 9 and rarely in between.

Limited production (2 picks and 8 PD in 27 games). Beyond that he's short and has short arms, while playing against sub-par talent. He's a smart guy, but I have no interest in him. He's a shorter, slightly more athletic Jalen Mills.

 

Eagles get both Jameson & Jordan Davis. Interestingly, has the Eagles trading from 18 to 13 and not 15 to 13.

I would have no issue with McDuffie in Round 2, but in Round 1... at 15 or 18?  Nope.

Walker is too good of a run defender to be a bust. There's a good chance he's just a solid pro.

I can support the idea of going with an EDGE for the #1 overall pick.  You got your QB last year, just resigned an OT.   EDGE is the 3rd highest priority position in my book.  So, that makes sense.  But... passing on Hutchinson to grab Walker makes zero sense to me.  I know this draft class doesn't really have the highest of the high profile guys... but there are better options at #1 than Walker, even if he is an athletic freak.  His production didn't exactly match that, and with so many other monsters on UGA, it cannot be argued that it was because of the attention he drew from opponents.  

 

That said, I think Walker turns into a good pro.  Maybe a Brandon Graham type DE.  But, at #1, you are hoping for a little more than that.  He'll be considered a bust by many if he turns into Graham.

It certainly seems like there is a strong consensus on what the Jets and Giants are going to do, more or less… seems like Thibodeaux is likely to be selected 8th or 9th and maybe by trade up.  Given the character concerns I would prefer this not be the Eagles.

End result seems good, Davis to me is the top realistic target for the Eagles.  I’d avoid a top prospect coming off an ACL, especially one who is so reliant on speed, but if they get Davis I’m ok with them taking any of the WRs.

Yeah, that compensation is insane.  A future first to move up from 18 to 13?  Lol.

Cost should be a 3rd round pick, give or take depending on which one.  I expect the Eagles to move to 10, 12 or 13 with one of those 3rds.  15 to 13 would normally just cost a 4th. Houston could easily fleece the 101st pick from us and would probably be quite happy with that.
