I don't hate the pick but I feel like it wasn't a huge need. We need defense badly. Weren't we going to use one of the swing guards or tackles to take over C when Kelce finally retires?

We don't even know if Kelce is going to retire after this upcoming season. He could end up doing another season

Just wait till we draft Matt Corral in the 3rd round.

As for Kelce, Im sure he already told Howie/Lurie he was done after this year.

I meant Seumalo not Pryor

I think I took a lot of people down with this question. Troy Anderson drafted before Christian Harris.

Would we really tell Miami 3 days ahead of time Embiid is out? Could some gamemenship be going on?

Given How the board fell up to 51, who would you have picked?

So far, @Texas Eagle trading Pryor has been the highlight of the second round.

Eagles were right to take Dickerson last year, and were proven as so.

Same will happen with Cam when he is the centre piece of this O-Line for the next decade plus.

I hate you all

Except for Davis, Reddick, White…

This guy has been talked about at 51 for a while. He was a top 30.

And now our amazing left side stays in place with Mailata and Dickerson. This kid is Kelce’s hand picked successor.

I’m a renaissance man.

F that midget.

2023 line when Kelce retires is in much better shape. This team was never planning to win a 2022 super bowl…were you? It’s a "boring” pick but in 2023 when this kid is making second level blocks down the field, everyone’s gonna be like "damn he is like Kelce Jr.”

I don't think we are winning this year either. But a stud LB fell right into our laps. And we ignored the position. Again.

Im sure theyd get in trouble for reporting a player is out when he is not.

What other endorsement does any fan need than this?

We got potentially two cornerstone pieces on the Dline and Oline.Coaches rave about this guy. Kelce loves the pick. We have the best Oline coach in the game.

People are complaining......

Most rookies we could have picked wouldn't have started this year, that's just the reality for NFL rookies, barring injuries.

You think a rookie DE starts ahead of Graham, Sweat and Williams when he moves outside?

Maybe the right safety, CB is less likely since McPhearson has a head start. LB, Dean has some medical issues, who else?  2nd and 3rd rd picks aren't locks as rookies.

Jergens is a Kelce clone except 23 lbs heavier - I mean their workouts are almost identical (Kelce better SS, Jergens better VT and LJ) and so is their playing style.

At 6'3 303 with 33" arms and 10" hands, Jergens could probably play OG if needed, adding depth (we never have OL injuries ).

Is it sexy? Nah. Does it fit a rebuild. Oh yeah. If you have LT, LG, C set for 3-4 years, and Lane has a few years left, you're in pretty good shape, along with those expensive skill players.

Jergens also makes it easier to move Herbig (who had to sign his tender to be traded) for a later round pick.

His face is broken.  The sixers season is over.

Jurgens is a great athlete. I get they like Dickerson at guard and don't wanna press a need at center next year. But man I wanted a back 7 player there.

Maybe we could trade for Matt Pryor instead...

Silver lining is that James Harden didn’t do enough to play himself into a new contract

TATE knows more than Stoutland and Kelce, duh

A former Qb turned LB drafted before Dean.

What is happening

I throught it was indefinitely but didn’t realize he was deemed out already. Time to pack my bong.

If Jurgens is our starting center for most of this next decade, this is a great pick

Not that I hate the Jurgens pick, but we turned 10 picks into a first year rotational DT, AJ Brown, a center who won’t play this year, and have a 3rd, 5th and 7th

Building for next year when they get a QB.

Dean has medical red flags, might be off the board for some teams.
