Last year the Eagles were relatively healthy.  Healthy or not, at #83 to get a 1st round talent is worth the risk it comes with. Definitely worth a 3rd rounder more than Taylor was a few years ago

100%. Between last year and this year, I like the upward trend in draft quality Howie is having.

Dean is a great pick. This is two years in a row now where Howie has taken two key players from SEC national champion teams. Smith/Dickerson and Davis/Dean is how you bring in great young talent who know how to win for a rebuild. Dean might be undersized but he doesn't play like it and he is a great fit for this team with Davis in front of him to free him up. I don't care if this kid doesn't play next year because they just got a first round player in the third. Just a phenomenal pick.

I don’t think he was ever going to be a 1 because of his size and lack of elite testing. Good pick though.

Front seven was clearly the focus this offseason.  If that is an effective group, Gannon can get more creative with his coverages on the backend.

Gotta feel great to get drafted and then all they talk about is alcohol abuse, depression and being unreliable.

So many teams passing on QB. Man it’s going to be so pricey to trade up next year. If the teams even are willing to trade down. Just hope the Saints are awful and pick in the top 5.

I really like Dean and understand why they picked him. 

However, I would have taken the Panthers trade offer.
