On a side note, some team better hire Eric Beinemy as their HC this year. I dont want to hear the only reason he isn't getting hired is because everyone is racist.

Nah - you hire a black coach for that kamikaze mission.

I'd be shocked if Dennis Allen doesn't take over.

I thought the Lions DC was that bum DB's coach we used to have. Did he get fired already?

Fired with Patricia. He’s now the DB coach in SF.

I can't imagine a FA WR wanting to come play with our current QB.  Imagine leaving the huddle knowing you're the third read.

Hurts definitely does hamper our attractiveness. Hopefully he isn't the one in the huddle in week 1.

Bienemy does not call plays. He carries Andy's clipboard and his Big Macs in his pockets.

NO ONE SAID THEY ARE NOT BETTER THAN HURTS.....FFS.  No one has been more critical of Hurts longer than I have.

It's not about if one of those guys is better than Hurts/Minshew.  It's if one of those guys is better than Hurts/Minshew + what it'll cost to get them and how far will it set team back when it fails.

Moving one 1st back to 2023 is not depleting your overall haul for this draft.  It's a wise investment.  Investing in old qb's or Watson is not a wise investment.  Actually, Watson is the wiser of the options if you're gonna go that rout.  Still very very risky.  So one last time, for you GreenD and anyone else.  We all Know Carr, Watson, Wilson, A Rod are better QB's than Hurts.  That's not a unique perspective.

Draft 2 of the 2sts and pretty much all of your high picks.  Kick one of the 1st back to 2023 and hope a QB emerges then.  This All or Nothing plan is ridiculous.

Hope in that hand and sheet in the other see which one fills up faster, and then hope he's not a flop therefore adding another 3-5 years in the eagle's sucktitude. How often do you think players of Rodgers/Wilson/Watson caliber are going to be available?

Yes, if reasonable I'm going that route. We haven't picked a franchise qb in the draft since McNabb so you better hope a crap ton going with your plan.

The ONLY QB trade I'm on board with is Watson. He's young enough to be part of a 2-3 year retooling and instantly gives us the best NFC QB under 30.

I think we'll all remember Cory Undlin as the glue holding the Pederson-era Eagles together.

Amazing that people thinks that Lurie has been a good owner the last 4 seasons...

3 playoff appearances in 4 seasons. 3 1st rounders in 2022. A promising HC. Lurie is a good owner.

NFCS just became the biggest dumpster fire in the NFL. I think Brady gives it one more go and has a final farewell tour with the Bucs. They could just print the 2022 NFCS banner tomorrow.

Lurie loves Payton also. If the Eagles and Cowboys fight for his services next year, and Payton is choosing between coaching Hurts and Prescott… don’t think that decision is going to be all too difficult.

If it’s Wilson or Watson he gets to coach on the other hand….

Chatter is Brady would like a trade to the 49ers for one last hurrah.

Jimmy G gets traded, Lance gets to sit behind Brady and learn, and 49ers become better.

Not sure TB would acquiesce unless there was a handshake deal in place with Brady.

His chances of winning a SB next year are nearly 0, but like you said...he gets a total freebie division title and home playoff game against a horrible team in the expanded format...just for showing up.

IMO, title hunting with SF would cheapen Brady's legacy into Lebron territory.

Now is the time for Brady to call it.  But if he doesn't, he should retire.

At some point Brady falls off a cliff. If what you state above happens I hope it's next season

I doubt he even cares at this point about one more championship. He will just want all the cameras, media and attention of one final farewell season.

It's hardly falling off a cliff, but Brady put up some pretty hollow stats in the playoffs this year.  I don't think he played particularly well.

Granted, it feels like every QB in the playoffs sucks with 2 notable exceptions after watching Sunday night's game.

This is a hilarious take.

hurts does not posses the skillset to even come close to what ALlen has, even if we gave him 5 more years. AInt happening.

It's a matter of skillset or Hurts lack there of.

Aggregate stats are the only thing that matters when comparing two players... how they arrive at those stats is completely inconsequential.  Just ignore any context or skill set.

Forget Philly & Dallas, if you're the Chargers...why wouldn't you throw the money at Payton? You're in LA and have Justin Herbert. It's not like fans will be upset at firing Brandon Staley.
