And said people just have an agenda against Hurts for thinking he doesn't have a good arm. Yea, he was in here one day about 3 months ago and claimed to be a physicist

He is one of my favorite defenders to watch. He’s young and really good. Their safety’s aren’t all pros but they are pretty damn good. Amos and savage are a good tandem. PFF at the end of November had hem as the highest graded tandem in the league. Even their rookie Eric stokes has been getting better every week. He looks like he’s going to be a pretty solid corner. Their secondary is good especially when healthy. i love mailata but Bakhtiari last year was first team all pro at left tackle. And he’s expected back for the divisional round. Rodger’s ****ed so everyone thinks that roster is bad without him and cause love was awful against KC so it must mean the rest of the roster just stinks. Outside of needing upgrades at wide receiver behind Adams and a tight end the rest of that roster is very good.

Just as its disingenuous to say that the QB is the reason that they were 9-8 this year. Football is a team sport... always has been. QB may be the most important position, but by himself, the QB can do nothing. He needs the supporting cast. Wentz was absolute garbage last year. He is to blame for his terrible play that season.

Meanwhile let’s just forget the Eagles re-signed Jason peters and try to make him into a guard. Then he got hurt. Andre Dillard got hurt before the season. so they didn’t have a left tackle and then were forced to eventually play mailata. Brandon Brooks got hurt. Lane Johnson got hurt. Driscoll got hurt. Seumalo got hurt. So you had one starter at the beginning of the season that was the same starter at the end of the season. But RTK is right it was only Carson Wentz in his demise. That makeshift offensive line that was inconsistent week to week had no part in that 4 win team or how he played.

That begs the question if we should have Goedert blocking so much if he's going to be the #2 pass target on the entire team. I realize you get mismatches when a TE blocks and must be accounted for in the passing game, but the physical blocking is literally handcuffing him a bit as a receiver...and he's one of 2 guys our offense even targets in the passing game. Witten did it his entire career, didn't seem to hurt his productivity as a WR - and a good run blocking TE can slip by the LBs easier than a glorified WR.

He was by far the biggest factor in it. The only time the offensive line played noticeably poorly was the first 2 or 3 drives of that week 1 Washington game, which also ironically are the best 2-3 drives Wentz had that season.
