Wonder how long the line of African American or Latino billionaires  to buy NFL franchises would be.

I want our version of Tee Higgins. So happy we took Reagor over Jefferson AND him.

I was big on Higgins. I had it Juedy, Lamb, Jefferson, Higgins. I'm glad we took Jjaw over Metcalf too

That seemed to be the majority consensus here.

I wasn’t big on Higgins.  H.E. was.  I was wrong.

I remember HE was too.

Higgins was my favorite Wr in that draft but I figured he wasnt on the eagles radar because they were looking for speed guys and had just wasted a high pick on a big WR in JJAW😒

Doesn't give me a ton of confidence they can figure out WR but then again they did get smith so🤷‍♂️

Yea. Some people had Lamb over Jeudy but those guys were the same top 4 for just about everyone

I had Jefferson #1

They have something in Watkins. They have a chance to hit on a wr on day 2 or 3

Yup, I liked Watkins as well, was in almost every mick I did that year, when they took hightower instead I was bummed, then when Watkins was still around I was pretty happy.

I think with a QB who could throw deep Watkins stats this year would have been even better, lots of missed opportunities there

I’d like a veteran added to the group, ala DJ Chark, Mike Williams, etc and a rookie with some size. Christian Kirk is intriguing to take over slot duties. A WR corps like:

Smith

Burks/Pickett/Ross/Pierce/Watson

Kirk

Watkins

Ward

Reagor

isnt too shabby.

No doubt. I believe Smith would've had a 1200 yard season and Watkins would've cracked 1000. But we have a rb trying to play qb

Agreed. Not sure you can tell with all the vet wrs threads I started in IWTETG section lol. Allen Robinson if the price is right. Godwin also. Maybe they try going after Juju again

Cool. So the above formation is it an accurate representation of what Gannon runs, at least DL wise and if so say JD99 Is at zero could Cox and Hargrave play 4i, Cox has 34 experience with Kelly/Davis and had one of his highest sack totals lining up at weakside DE, not sure if in 4i or 5 back then, hargrave with the Steelers played NT but could be play 4i or did Gannon line him up there this past season?

Thanks for taking the time to explain all this, my knowledge of DL Intracacies is pretty basic so I appreciate it.

Gannon tried to run this front - but Sweat isn’t a 4i, Fletch isn’t a 2-gap NT, Avery isn’t the SAM/OLB that can 2-gap/blitz or drop - so we saw a lot of 4 DL base because our personnel has been tailored to it.  Even if we drafted JD99, we’d switch to a 4 DL in obvious passing situations as the rush would be stronger (hence the whole multiple front thing).

This picture is a little dated but JD99 goes in the middle. Ojabo to the right in the 2 point stance. Milton/Travon/Leal/Paschel are 4i guys.

from what Ive seen, Travon and Paschal are anywhere guys.

Yup - they could do the whole BG thing; base DE, 4i, 3T nascar.

In that draft?   Hardly anyone did.  I was all in on that skinny Dallas piece of crap.

Yes sir.  @Outlaw can back me up.

Logan Hall as well.

Travon and/or Logan hall would have me ecstatic.

You wouldnt need to draft a DT if you had both of those guys. They can give you enough snaps to cover either position in a rotation.

Id accept Paschal in round 2. Id take either, or both of those other guys in round 1.

I wanted the Jeffersons - but then they got too expensive, so switched to Aiyuk in a tradeback scenario of course😵💫

Racist Packers fired their ST coach.

Maybe it was the blocked field goal. Or maybe it was the blocked punt. Maybe it was them being ranked 32nd in ST. So many choices to choose from.

Yup Smith was under utilized as well.

Get a QB in there that can see the whole field and actually throw with some zip and accuracy further than 10 yards and Smith and Watkins are pushing 1000 each

Even in the playoff game Watkins should have had well over 100 yards but the throwing RB couldn't get him the ball.☹️

There is systemic racism in the NFL. The Rooney rule is both an ineffective and misguided approach to fix it. Flores getting "sham" interviews to bypass an initiative designed to counter racism...is evidence of systemic racism.

Side-topic: I do think it's easier to trade for Watson while this goes on. There will be less focus on Watson.

Makes sense, there's systemic racism in our society why would the NFL be any different.
