Yes Bacarty2, when the board needs realistic football takes we will all look to you.

He certainly has a point, though. The only positions that aren’t desperate needs for the Eagles are WR, TE, OT, and K. In fact, the reason there are needs everywhere else is the massive amount of resources that have been used on WR.

The problem with this board is most are hard core hoagie mouths who have no aspect of "realistic" football.

The argument about a WR is a great example. They all want a sexy, fancy name because they play John Madden Football on Playstation.

But, if you had any clue you'd realize we dont throw the ball enough to have 4 throwing options AND dont have the QB to do so.

This sounds like mansplaining to me.

@downundermike I will bet you that Hurts will score 50 Touchdowns next season.

When agreeing to terms I'll change that to 5 for the rest of his career. You better accept hoagie mouth!

That's not his point.  QB play, or lack there of, is the basis of his reasoning.

Regardless of whether Hurts is the starter for next season or not, WR absolutely needs to be addressed in some capacity.

Been addressed the last 4 drafts. 😂 Those WRs being good and putting up numbers is a different story.

Nobody is really advocating for a 1st round WR though. If one that you like falls, sure take them, but I don't think the consensus is to target a WR early.

He's saying he doesn't want to add any pieces to the passing offense because the QB won't throw it to them.

I predected the Rams in the Superbowl. Predicted Mcvay would last longer than Doug. That Mcvay is better than Doug. Predicted OBJ would have a monster playoffs and be back to a top 10ish guy next year.

All these were "hot takes". I can go on on and on but more times than not, im dead on

I'm curious, how does it feel to be the person to whom RTK can say "hold my beer?"

I'm not saying it has to be a big FA signing or a 1st rounder, but we would be foolish to go into the season as is.

That makes more sense😄 I was racking my brain of who the heck it could have been.

I'd be fine with just another receiving option. Majority of teams that were in the playoffs have 4+ receiving threats. More receiving threats you have, the more the defense has to worry about and defend.

I mean if Godwin is willing to come here, on a bit of a discount because of his injury, it'd be foolish not to take him. Chark too. Or use a 4th or later pick on a guy. I don't know anybody here that wants a first used on one, and most mock drafts people are posting don't have a WR being taken until much later.

Not sure a team has ever gone into a season with only 3 WRs on the roster.🤔

AFC South is the only AFC div without a franchise QB (jury's out on Lawrence), so this makes sense.

Why go to Denver and bang your head against Herbert and Mahomes.

The Eagles only have 3 legit receiving options. Smith, Quez, Goedert. You can't consistently rely on Reagor/Ward/JJAW, they need to be upgraded. Bacarty thinks that's perfectly fine and there is absolutely no need to spend any resources on upgrading the depth of the receiving options.

Liked him as a udfa signing but he didn't show much, dudes got a bad football body, maybe should have been working out with Herbig in the off-season.

Life's much easier when one can just turn hand the ball off to Derick Henry, plus their D is solid, he'd make any team a playoff team but why make it harder on yourself?

Tannenhill obviously isn't the answer Rodgers could get them over the hump.

Spot and choose is a nice change for overtime IMO.
