You named 4 guys since the Super Bowl.  4.  You think Devonta Smith is an elite athlete?

They have been drafting WR over and over again for 6 years and have one possible WR1 to show for it.  (I would lean more towards him being a WR2).

Drafted no athletes at LB, DE or Safety in that time.   Had to spend big in FA to get one at corner.

When the best athletes you can think of that he’s drafted are on the line, you’re cluelessly making the point for us.

How many solid starters do you think the average draft produces?  About 2, maybe 2.5 if you pick in the top 10 (and thus 33-42 and 65-74).

I think sometimes fans get focused on their own teams so much they lose perspective, drafting is hard for every team, if it's not your team, you recognize only the successes and overlook the failures.

So you’re saying trade #15 for Coopers???

Lol. Coopzzzzzzzzzzz

Just need maybe 2 more picks through trades in this draft for a few OL prospects. Otherwise, this looks like a cheat sheet for Howie on draft day.

Nice deflection and goal post move.

I like it but don't see a LB as realistic from Howie, especially at 16... maybe with a trade back.

Danny Gray is kinda nice. Reminds me of Darnell Mooney when he was coming out.

I felt like Gabriel Davis.

He has that nice size. Some thickness to him. Good speed. Seems to lack some polish. Doesnt seem to run the whole route tree. But he looks like one of those guys you can get later on who actually has potential to become a solid starter.

I thought Mooney seemed thinner. Gray seems to have better size. But I can see it as far as a late round guy who has potential to contribute.

Im just hoping this is finally the year. Its at least not in the top 10 so Im feeling like maybe there is a slim chance.

Interesting Friday news dump regarding high profile black assistant coaches.

Anthony Lynn becomes the assistant head coach and a "key cog" in a Shanahan run scheme in which a granny at the nursing home could already average 4 ypc in.

Patrick Graham leaves the Giants in a lateral move after the Flores chaos.

Slightly surprised

Gray measured 5-11 1/2, 182 pounds at the Senior Bowl. Mooney was 5-10, 176 at the combine.

But really, it’s more about both being a mid-round WR who has really good speed, can separate, can win at multiple levels.

FFS.  37yo is way too early.  I admit I knew his avatar more than I knew his username, but I recall him being a good person.

I'm sort of emotional right now as earlier tonight I learned that a coworker passed and she was just 49yo.  And I just saw her yesterday and the first half of the day she seemed fine, though she left work early because she wasn't feeling well.  She did call out today, but just figured it was because she didn't get over feeling bad from the day before.  Just so shocking and unexpected.  Not sure what or how to feel about it.  She was a really good worker with a good sense of humour and I enjoyed working with her.  So F'd up.

I think you get focused on blowing smoke up Howie’s ass so much you lose perspective.   It works both ways.

Howie even admits he tried too hard to keep the SB team together, but it doesn't change the fact that he rebuilt this team in 2016 and won a SB in 2017, rebuilt this team in 2021 and made the playoffs and has set it up for future success.

And if Hurts sucks as much as people say he does, that means Howie built a pretty good team to go 9-8 with a below average QB.

If Cooper Kupp teaches anything, it's that speed is grossly overrated in WRs. And even more in the future as more defenses focus on taking away the big play.

Look for the complete package, IQ, body control, quickness, hands, route running, etc.

Not saying harden isnt better than Simmons, a ham sandwich would be a fair trade for Simmons, no team is trading for Simmons and getting traded to a new team isn't going to magically change either players long list of problems.

They're both malcontent head cases.

I'm not looking for anything I don't care about the sixers, I'm a jazz fan.

It isn't about changing a player on the team issues.  It is about improving the team.  Adding an elite offensive point scoring PG to a team with a defensive and offensive dominant scoring best player in the world will only make this team better.

The only question is what do they give up in return? They likely have to give up something like Simmons @ Danny Green and maybe a draft pick.  If that is the case and they can keep Maxey and Matisse then that is a win.

Eh. Strong?

The most underrated play of the game was a third-down conversion by Agholor on third and 6 at our own 17. It was a throw behind him short of the sticks and he was able to shrug a defender and pick up the first down. Clement capped the drive with a TD catch.

Huge play no one talks about.

If that’s the one where he spun out of a tackle attempt, I agree. Agholor was great that season in his role and played great that whole game also.

Hard pass on Wilson.

Hard pass on your hard pass if he's available for a reasonable price

What's a reasonable price to you?  I don't want to give up 2 first round picks this draft.  I don't think it's possible but a 1st and 3rd this year, 2023 1st seems reasonable to me.  But I don't think he waves the NTC to come to Philly.  He'd love to be on this Division but for sure the Giants top his list.

I think if you are in the eagles situation you always take the shot at the QB position.  We did it with Hurts, and maybe it didn't pan out as well as we had hoped.  So try again.  I agree we probably aren't a Russell Wilson away from being superbowl contenders, especially if we have to give up a bunch to get him.  So I'd be fine with them taking a chance on a Malik Willis or whoever they think could be that guy.

That's part of my pass.  I fully expect the price to be ridiculously high... and he's 33.   Stafford at 33 cost 2 1sts, a 3rd and Goff.

Too rich for me.

A transition from the Gannon defense to the Zimmer defense would be fairly straightforward.
