Good thing you qualified that.

If you are a multi-millionaire, that's news to me.   And congrats.

Mesquite is the courses up on the Reservation up north of town right?  Been a while...

I loved it when I lived there, but I almost never went to the strip.  Everything being 24 hours made the town amazing and there was so much to do in the areas surrounding it.  I pretty much lived on the water at Lake Mead on my days off.

Yup, IIRC Mesquite was just over an hour drive NE of Vegas.

If I ever lived in the area I'd likely head up there and play more often than I'd stay in the city to play.  The drive was rather scenic and relaxing, and the courses weren't as crowded as the ones in Vegas.  I agree the surrounding areas were enjoyable.

Actually all the real bad MF'ers from the NSDAP Army came and worked for us under operation paperclip. You know the guys who helped developed meth, Sarin and V2's that basically destroyed London.

Edit*** whoa... it wont let me say the N word...AZI

Wasn’t the guy who invented Zyklon B an instrumental part in the Manhattan Project? That’s pretty sick.

I'm not interested in Wilson given what it would cost, the state of the team, his age, etc.

Having said that, I have read in a few spots online Eagles fans saying that Hurts is/will be as good as Wilson.

I've said it before, but I don't know that I have ever seen such fanfare for mediocrity before.

Interesting Hat choice for him to sign.....

You have no real idea of what it would cost

As long as we could keep two of our 1st rounders, hell yeah give me Russ.

Ill take relevancy and competent QB play over wasting another year "trying to figure out" if Hurts is the guy.

I want Wilson. I also want Ridley. Could you imagine this offense? Dillard, Hurts, 1st this year, and a 1st next year probably gets it done.

It's kind of funny, but this kid just keeps saying the wrong things.  Diva in the making?

I made a long post a few months ago talking about athlete personalities and how success can change them.  I mentioned Jefferson as a guy to look out for.  You can see little things here and there that he didn't do or say as a rookie.  Diva in the making for sure.

Free agent OT Greg Robinson was arrested Monday in Thibodaux, La. on nine felony drug charges.

Robinson, 29, was pulled over for a traffic violation around midnight, and a police dog alerted at the presence of narcotics. Officers discovered 38.89 pounds of marijuana, 3.16 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, 2.22 pounds of cocaine, 4 grams of crack cocaine, 227 doses of hydrocodone, 48 doses of oxycodone and 18 doses of alprazolam along with "a large assortment of drug trafficking and packaging equipment/paraphernalia, firearm magazines and ammunition and a small amount of U.S. currency.” It's Robinson's second drug-related arrest in the last two years after he fell out of the league following the 2019 season. Robinson remained in jail Wednesday on $315,000 bond. The former No. 2 overall pick of the Rams is one of the biggest draft busts in recent memory.

Eh, just personal use...

I used to like PFT when they were on their own, and then for a brief time after they he got bought out by NBC. The best was when it was both Florio and Gregg Rosenthal. Now its just a sport version of TMZ.

Some people get a huge dopamine hit gambling. I am one of them. Beating the house if fun but beating other poker players is the best

Well part of my job for decades was to be one of the persons deciding if cases that could expose us to six to 9 figure verdicts (even a few with greater than ten figures at risk - and we don’t count cents - won those). should go to trial and at what dollar point the risk was neutral or  less to us so I got plenty of that and the stress that went with it to last me several lifetimes.  I had an excellent track record (although the forensic examination after a miss on bigger cases could seem brutal).  There was a high when we got it right.  But there was always a cost too.

But I can get plenty of that winning feeling without stress playing with for pennies or chips and more from a well played game of bridge.  But I never understood the thrill of roulette or craps (Yahtzee is more challenging than craps).  And dumping in money and pushing a button or pulling a handle has no attraction for me.  I would rather pluck my money down on a lotto ticket where I know some of the money is going to a good purpose. (Yeah, the odds are awful and it’s just the state legalizing the numbers racket for itself, but at least a portion of the money is used for good in most states.)

So you think that they would trade Wilson to another team in the NFC cheaply? Beyond that, I'm talking about his price tag on top of the assets given up.

I don't think youd need three firsts

Hypothetically if a deal went down, I think seattle would take back hurts in that deal as well as someone like dillard. Not that dillard has great value considering he only has 1 year left on his rookie deal, but LT Duane brown is a free agent and is 37 years old. At least gives them the potential for a long term solution at LT.

For 2022 I am pretty positive that whichever team that trades for Wilson is only on the hook for 11 million on the cap. Plus we would get back around 3 million on the cap if Dillard and Hurts are traded.

Nope, he has a base salary of 19 million.

Okay good to know, should have double checked. But either way, it’s not a ton to pay this year for him.

I would say he could be had for 2 - 1st's+ a Conditional 2nd or 3rd or player/s

And of those two firsts, one would likely be this year, and one next year.

Ideally-we could potentially trade for wilson , trade one other 1st rd from this year back for a later pick and a first next year.  Meaning we would still have a 1st rd pick in each this and next year

Not sure how they calculate it but according to the Spotrac salary cap tracker for 2022 the Eagles have about $22.4M in available cap space right now

-- Washington Demanders have just over $30M, while the Giants are -$10.7M and DAL is -$21M

I'd be surprised if that was true. Zyklon B was invented for use as a fumigant, for delousing clothing and such like. Whoever decided to "repurpose" it was the sick MoFo to my way of thinking.

Edit: According to Wikipedia, here's the sick MoFo:

Rudolf Höss, commandant of Auschwitz, said that the use of Zyklon-B to murder prisoners came about on the initiative of one of his subordinates, SS-Hauptsturmführer (captain) Karl Fritzsch, who had used it to murder some Russian POWs in late August 1941

Last call today for contributing to the Memorial Fund for @Dawkins 20s daughters. We plan to mail this out tomorrow morning. I’ll post a total at that time. Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far - to the EMB collection or on their own. Still can’t believe we have to do this but I’m so proud to be an Eagles fan - we come together to help our own 💚🦅
