Lance Zierlein’s write up on Cincy safety Bryan Cook. The more I read about him the more he looks like a target.

Note the player comp, a guy Gannon coached in Indy.

Let’s hope Zierlein is more accurate. He has him as his 28th rated player at this point.

Interesting rankings. I’m surprised Haskins didn’t make the cut.

I’d take Rachaad White before any of the last 5 as well.

Maybe he will be a 2nd rounder then. I feel like this team hasnt developed a safety since Dawkins, and maybe Lewis and Mikell. But those two were box safeties, and thats kind of easy to find. So really, not since Dawkins.

I dont really trust them to find anyone outside of some damn near blue chipper in round 1 (like Brisker). I guess round 2 will be o.k.... But even round 2 had the Nate Allen disappointment, and he looked so promising. He was one of my guys in the draft that year and he amounted to nothing.

I would rather a guy with natural ball hawking instincts as his calling card who can develop everything else. Im hesitant about guys who are "versatile" playing in the box. We dont develop those guys in to good coverage safeties. They remain limited forever. K'Vonn Wallace.

I genuinely have no clue who is going to end up being a good RB from this class.  Almost every mock simulator/prospect ranker has them ranked differently.  Seems like there's no clear "could be a round 1" guy but about 20 "mid round but could end up being really good" guys.

Wentz is a turnover machine , Bruce wouldn’t take that on .

he is just not a good QB

Turnover machine.  Fumbles, yes but pretty good on interceptions

It’s such a dumb practice.  I don’t believe it’ll mean much in his case.

I agree... which is why I have no social media presence.

Even the guy’s Twitter handle is annoying: @DangeRussWilson

I think he can still win football games, though.

This class lacks athleticism at the RB position. Badly. You have Kenneth Walker at the top, and a whole bunch of guys after him are just ok athletes. Some lacking elusiveness, most lacking a top gear.

Plenty of strong runners. A few really angry, powerful runners.

A bunch of talented pass catchers. But even there, they lack the usual athleticism youd see in 3rd down backs, except for Cook, and Badie.

Its ranked that way because no one but walker can really stand out above the others. Its all about choosing what you value most, and sacrificing other attributes. No one really offers it all.

Bench is a very good measure of upper body strength, but far inferior for football performance to a player's squat and deadlift and even biomechanical leverages at nearly every position.

If I had no squat or dead (or vert or broad jump) to go on, the bench would likely be a good indication of how seriously they take strength training. So in that regard, I'd consider it important

Reagor was basically a rookie, he should improve.

Reagor was absolutely terrible last year, but making him the whipping boy for that game is insane.

First 'dropped' TD was severely underthrown and he was interfered with coming back for the ball.

Second dropped TD, is a catch you want an NFL WR to make but it was still a throw into double (maybe triple) coverage when there was open options.

I had to find someone to respond to to this...so this wasn't aimed at you haha.

12 hours after 2:22am will be 2:22pm

On both occasions, the date will still be 2/22/22

I get that.  2:22 tomorrow (as in the day)  I would have hoped you knew I was talking about the afternoon.  I’ll get up at 2:22 am to repost this.

Technically you're both right...the global 'time standard' is based off UTC, which is a 24 hour clock...but that doesn't negate the fact that there is an AM/PM for 99% of people.

What about 2222 when howie roseman VII is the GM

Pretty sure OG Howie Roseman will just be a floating head in a jar Futurama style and will still be the GM

So is AROD retiring after all?

I can’t keep up with the drama of today’s athletes.
